Hi okay so I’ve got this mate of mine, we’ve been friends for about eight months now. she’s been at my school for the past five year but we’ve little to nothing to do with each other. Two years ago a group of us went to France for three weeks and we found out we had a lot in common and we became friends but them it died down after that until about eight months ago as I said. Now we’re good friends, hanging out together a lot, talking all the time, telling jokes all the time, we have lunch every Wednesday just the two of us.
There was an awkward spell that happened a few months ago. For about a week, when I got ver nervous around her for some reason. So nervous that I couldn’t talk to her, look her in the ye or even be around her. I don’t know what brought that on but a few days later everything was fine. It was back to how it usually was.
Lately over the past three weeks I’ve been dreaming about her a lot. I don’t dream often but I have lately and she’s been in there in almost every single one of them. Even if it’s not about her or she doesn’t a big role in my dreams, she still turns up even if it’s in the background. Most of the dreams didn’t amount to much and none of them have been a sex dream. What’s going on? I have no feelings for her other than any feelings you’d have for your mate. I love another girl and my friend has a boyfriend of her own. But why can’t I stop dreaming about her?

you obviously liked her before. maybe the dreams are like an aftershock....? or maybe the truth is that you do have feelings for her but your head keeps telling you that you love this other girl, that's why you think you dont, just a theory..

I did have a crush on her five years ago but that died down. When I look at her, I just see my mate but when I look at the girl I love, I see the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.

Maybe because you hang out so much, she's constantly on your mind. I think you are overthinking it.

You're definitely overthinking it. Nobody here can actually tell you what this means, so don't worry about it. I dream about this one girl a lot is usually because my dreams are the only place that others can't intrude
