Money: -2,222 | I Am In Need Of Serious Help!!! Someone Please Help Me!!!! I am a 16 year old. I think I've developed health problems and I need help. My parents aren't bringing me to the doctor.
They took me to the doctor about a week ago but the doctor did not do any tests on me. I only told him a couple of symptoms and he didn't think it was serious, so he did no tests.
I developed new symptoms recently.
The day before yesterday, I ate a snack and I suddenly got really tired. It felt like I was sleep deprived. I nearly fainted. I couldn't have been sleep deprived, because the day before I had slept an unusual 12 hours. I have tingling, pain and numbness all over my body that comes and goes. I have irritability (I've been talking back to my parents.) I have to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes to an hour. I have lost 7 pounds in a day without working out. I went from 151 Ibs. to 144 Ibs. in just a couple of hours.. I told my parents this but they shrug it off. I sometimes have red spots on my feet. I have difficulty remembering simple things. I also have dizziness and nausea (Sometimes it feels like I'm going to vomit or pass out.) There is something wrong with me and they won't believe it, no matter what I do I cannot convince them that there is something wrong with me.
I can't fall asleep right anymore. If I do fall asleep, I cannot sleep right. I only sleep for about 3 hours long.
My mother was going to take me to the doctor again today but she changed her mind because my dad convinced her not to. My dad thinks I'm crazy and he keeps laughing at me and mocking me.
I am homeschooled so I have no one to talk to -- No counselor or nurse or anything. My parents, they don't believe there is anything wrong with me. They're in denial. I'm trapped. They're punishing me for this, too. They're not taking me seriously anymore. They think I'm a hypochondriac, but I'm not. I have tried to imagine I'm only a hypochondriac, but my symptoms do not go away. I didn't even get a chance to be tested and yet they think I'm a hypochondriac. The doctor did not do any tests on me so I can't tell if something is wrong.
They took all the phones in the house away from me so I wouldn't call anybody for help. I can't call relatives or 911 because of this. They are neglecting me. I am worried about my health and fear it will get worse. Please help!
I can't get any local help anymore. My computer is the only thing they haven't taken away from me and it's the only way I can get help. |

EDIT: I haven't gotten my drivers license yet. I can only go to the hospital if my parents take me. |

also maybe try to look up some of your symptoms and try to place what it could possibly be, and what you might be able to do about it.

I find it strange that there's.. no phones around you, you have no friends to IM, your parents don't believe you and you can't leave your house. I seriously doubt this is the place you should be. Food poisoning isn't really fitting with what you're describing. Neither does any other common medical issue that I can think of. All I can tell you is if you're serious, then what the heck are we supposed to do? I suggest a medical website or something.
EDIT: Losing 7 pounds in an hour isn't even remotely realistic in most cases, but what do I know?
Double Edit: All of your symptoms are really vague. You can't check a symptom like "numbness and tingling" or "sometimes there are red spots on my feet" or stuff like that. I'm trying to help, but I need more info.
Triple Edit: Pernicious anemia seems to fit the symptoms. I can't promise you that, but it fits weight loss, tingling, numbness, fatigue, skin color changes, etc.

The urinating a lot/faint/dizziness/numbness/tingling absolutely sounds accurate for diabetes, but she's losing weight, not gaining. Definitely diabetes or anemia. One is serious, the other.. eh. Can be. Either way, she needs to see a doctor.

sorry yes. I know it doesnt always occur from obesity. Just the other symptoms seem familiar with it, if not the weight loss.
I would cal the hospital myself if it was me. Or tell a friend.
Aneamia can havr these bad affects?
