Money: -2,081 | Ever covered for your sibling? So my brother did something really stupid and I covered for him but now I'm in trouble. It wasn't something small and now I'm grounded for like the next year, if they do what they say they are going to I will no longer be online (other than school stuff) and I will not have a life for the next year. Should I tell the truth or just deal with whatever punishment is going to be dealt me? BTW, bro is definitely not gonna come clean so that's another issue. |

If you tell your parents the truth, they will think you are only trying to cover your own ass and your brother will think you are a traitor. I guess if it were me (thank god I'm an only child) I would have to stick to my original story, either way you will be in trouble for the act or the lying. |

If you think it isn't fair that you will be grounded for a year with what your brother had done then I think you should come clean. It's not your fault, anyway. |

I knew my brother was smoking weed for 3 years and my mum didn't have a clue. When his eyes were red he convinced her he had eye ache and hayfever |

Money: -2,217 | Re: Ever covered for your sibling? LOL. That's great. I have not covered for my sibling and he hasn't for me. It has always been a case of our parents assuming (rightly) who did what and we dealt with our punishment from there. Given the chance, I do not think I would have covered for him or vice versa. |

Money: -2,169 | Re: Ever covered for your sibling? I did cover for my sibling but that was over a very minor issue. But when she did something really terrible, I did not cover for her anymore. It’s her time to face it and take responsibility for it. Or else she might never learn. |

I am the smallest kid at home. (Kid among others lol)
I have only been uncovered, I mean never been covered but only been dragged to face consequences by my sisters even when whatever I did wasnt that big problem, hope you understand..
