my familys split into 2 sides that hate each other i think it started way back because my great great nan passed rings down through the family and now theres this supposed theory that my grandads stole them from my great uncle or something, so anyway there's about 7 people stuck in the middle including myself which makes it impossible for me to get along with everyone, it's like we're the peacemakers in all of this.

I find it all pathetic, the younger people in the family seem to be more sensible and mature than the adults, how strange is that? and theres no way that they'd ever forgive and forget,kind of like the families in Romeo and Juliet except without the love. My dads being an idiot about it the most think, he's always "bitching" about the family to me, sorta like trying to change my views and opinions of them, does my head in!

My uncle seems to be cool about it and just laughs at it all, he suggests we have a BBQ in the summer and make all the family come along-last time we did that the police were called, my dad was thrown out onto the street and i ended up sleeping on my uncles floor, was pretty funny though.

Does anyone else have big family problems or feuds that seem ridiculous but also really annoying and agrivating

My uncle was killed in the London Tube bombings on 7 July 2005, and ever since then my aunt has alienated herself from the rest of the family. When we do see her, there is always a huge argument involving 20 different people who all want to get their points accross. She treats me as if I am 6, not 16, and as if I am completly incapable of thinking for myself without some kind of input.

I don't know if that's what you mean by feud, but that's what happens with me.
