how would they know? would you tell them or something? do you have your own room at home, because now is a good time to have your own room and have your own privacy, most parents are usually supportive about this espeically mums , but i can see how your brother would tease you they're all like that, not paretnts though

It's simple, you may have a lot of that stuff going on at your house, but you need to talk to your parents. If you're not comfortable with it you shouldn't have to suck it up.

no kidding. i'm 18 now (pushing 19) and i'm just nowstarting to get comfortable being shirtless in front of my sisters (i'm a triplet). I also haven't started getting really muscular either; it's fine.

still, talk to your parents and explain the situation. they should understand.

I didnt get into puberty until 16, i no how you feel. I never wanted to get undressed or be shirtless around anybody at all.

I really have not thought about it. So it may not be an issue for me. I found showing my body to female friends and even to strangers, say in changing rooms to be a bit exciting to me. I don't know if I am born to be an exhibitionist???Almost sure I am a Lesbian, though!

All Dad does the same thing. I don't mind. I still sit on his legs, but I don't like my brother did that to me and I stop him when I was 12

I really don't see why you would have to get undressed or dressed in front of them anyway. I do, however, think that anybody who says that it's extremely uncomfortable to be undressed in front of their siblings or whatever somehow has this idea that sexual nature would take themselves over or their sibling over. I really don't see the point. I can understand mom or dad, that's explainable. But your brother/sister is supposed to be just as much of a friend to you as anyone else. Why would you feel uncomfortable unless they're doing what the OP's brother is doing, making fun of her body or whatever?

I get changed in front of anyone except my Dad lol.. I really have no hang ups about anything so it doesn't matter and I'm never fully naked in front of anyone anyways. I change in front of my friends, my mum, my boyf lol my nanna they're close and they wouldn't say anything about my body so.. maybe you just need to get some confidence in yourself. I'm not saying you have to or should change in front of your family but don't be so self conscious about being a late bloomer or anything like that; it's all good!

Why would they comment about your body in front of other people?
Your pubic hair and other things as such ARE PRIVATE.. no one needs to know from them!!!!!

I don't undress in frontof ANYONE in my family. I wouldn't say there are a large majority of girls that would be comfortable getting undressed and naked in front dad and brothers, nor a large majority of boys that would be comfortable standing naked in front of mom or sisters.

I don't even go around seeing my friends naked. So I don't know how you can compare it to that.

I think it's really one of those society issues again. Anywhere else in the world, it's 110% normal. My sister-in law's parents live in Germany. And there, it's completely normal for a sibling to undress in front of their sister or brother, or so on and so forth. It's all about how you're raised. Everyone is raised to believe nudity is a sexual thing. And it's not always true.

To answer your question from earlier Beth, I'm a late bloomer, I'm 14, flat chested, well, not completely flat chested, they're growing, slowly, but I got my period when I was 13. They seem to be growing alot faster since I did get my period.

And the other day I tried some pyjamas on and they had a really tight shirt, and I wasn't wearing my bra, and she always assumed my bra made me look way bigger, then she complimented me and she was all like woah, where did those come from? And I'm thinking UGH, THEY'RE TINY!

Just tell your family how you feel, or get dressed when they're all done and waiting for you, or change in the bathroom.

I know one girl at my high school, she's 17, a senior, and she doesn't wear a bra. And not because she is a bra burner, so to say, either. Because she has no need for it, if you catch my drift. And she isn't too bitchy about it either. She doesn't care about it, she understands that some people develop later than others, and that her time will come eventually. One of the nicest people you'd ever meet, too.
