Ahh! (This might be long, sorry)

Ok, so today, I went downstairs to see my brother. I was pushing the cushion he was lying on, so that it hit his face gently. He was laughing. He then comes upstaires while i'm watching tv and starts punching me on the damn shoulder.

At first I ignored him, but after ten times of full strengh blows, I told him to stop. He didn't, so I got up and punched back. I'm going to skip, cuz this goes on for a f*king long time. So, i get up, choke hold him, and thro him in his room! he punches my back....i'm going to skip again....now i'm pissed.

So we start fighting, and I mean REALLY fighting, him trying to knock my out by punching my head, and my dodging, and then I punch him on the head.....that made him mad...I'm a little stonger...After pinning him down I always tryed to leave but he just kept provoking, punching my back!

Then we really fought, kicks punches, he even scratched...and i'm thinking...."if he doesn't stop, i'm gonna kill this kid..." and he did not stop....so finally, i just kicked him down, and went and locked myself in my room, to tired to fight, shaking from rage, and now typing to you's....(i feel better writing it all down)...

help? wat to do about him? He keeps this up for like a month....silent treatement? Ignore him? just forget about him??? what???

I think you should just ignore him.

I am 16 years old, and my brother is 14.

ignore him man, he will stop, and if not, rip his head off , naaa seriusly, ignore him

i m telling you, the best thing you can do is ignore him. that will make him mad at first, because he does all these things to draw your attention, but in the end, he will stop. when he realises that theres no way to make you angry, he will stop for sure. by the way, i have a younger brother of the same age too, and we used to fight until i tried to show to him that i trust him. for some reason, they just try to make us give our attention to them. he may feel that you dont love him or that you dont appreciate him, or sth like that. i dont know if you two have a good relationship but if you dont, maybe he just want to make you realize he's there.

Just try to ignore him...he will probably get the message. He is probably just trying to be a tough guy and beat up his older brother :P.

lol....i did a millions times, but he has this little anger management problem! he just never learns......sad really...lol

thats funny i have the same problem with my brother im 17 and hes 16 and taller than me so he thinks hes a bad a$$ but when it comes down to it i put him in his place...

lol..thanks everyone, it's true that it was not a big fight...everything is pretty much back to normal, for a little while at least.

You should apologize to him. Honestly, be the older one in it. You know he isnt going to apologize so you have to. Just tell him, you know i am sorry for yelling at you it was just annoying me when i told you to stop and you didnt. I am sorry for hitting you. Then he will apologize to you. You have to get along with him, after all he is your brother and he looks up to you. Trust me i am the baby in the family and i am 16 too and i use to look up to my siblings, this is what they did to me but then they apologized. SO just apologize please.. it is the BEST thing

well...you see...my brother will not apologize if I do. He will say yaya and be off. But everything is good for the moment, and I don't see any trouble soon, since i'm acting very nice. Yes, you heard, very nice..lol...but maybe when he is more mature i will..who knows?
