When my parents came home, I expected to be in trouble, but when I saw the bags my parents brought home, I found out that Kara was telling the truth.

My parents told me Kara is just going through a phase right now, and that she needs love and support, and since Kara didn't think that would be enough, she wanted the baby treatment. She's allowed to go in diapers and play baby as she pleases, but she can only do it at night and not make a big deal of it to Kelsi. It's a bad influence, you see. My parents want to start toilet training her soon.

In the bags were a few packs of Pampers diapers, a few large bottles, a pacifier and some other baby toys, like dolls and lincoln logs. I can't say I agreed with my parents on this one, but after some research, I found out it's actually pretty normal for siblings jealous of younger siblings. And Kara is having fun crawling around in her new diapers sucking on her paci, so I can't complain.

I just have to pay extra attention to her and be loving. She's still a bit annoying during the day but after dinner, it's a whole different annoyance. I may have to change her diapers at some point...and right now she's crawling around the computer chair watching me attentively. Guess I have two 2 year old sisters now...

Sometimes a little more assertive approach is more effective. Rather than giving in to what the child wants, those in charge put their foot down and explain why the childs terms are unacceptable. However, you parents odviousely used their best judgement here and their solution makes sense, so long as an end it put to it sometime. I'd say she'll grow out of it through peer pressure.

I hope she'll stop sometime it must be kinda weird haveing a seven year old

Hey everyone!

Here's the update. Today, Kara is offically out of diapers and out of the baby phase. Her friends found out and wouldn't stop teasing her, so she gave it up. I'm surprised this went on for almost a month, but Kara is fine now.
