fathers day.
Kay every year i walk in the door and hand my dad a tie or something for fathers day. But i think he can tell i dont really care about it and i wanna show him i care but i cant think of something special to get him. I was going to make cookies & supper from scratch. only other problem is that I dont know what to buy him as a present. I was thinking of a really nice Twisted Sister shirt. Or an acdc or something like that but i am not sure because for christmas i bought him a shirt. i was thinking maybe a ps2 game. but i am really not sure at all what to get him. please help!

Re: fathers day.
Interests...think of his interests..my Dads into Led Zepplin and football so he's kind of always easy to choose for. Shops usually have specialised areas for fathers day anyway so if you get really stuck..get something small but meaningful.....fathers day is pretty much a con anyways.
And I'm glad you made this thread, because I really don't pay attention to things liek that and didn't know it was this weekend! :| I gotta get a move on...

Re: fathers day.
I have absolutely NO idea what to get my dad. My dad is very picky, he doesn't like people getting him clothes because they always get the wrong size and he isn't the type of person to want to go exchange it. I think for Christmas we got him a Three Stooges DVD Collection set, because he loved that show. I am so clueless and I'm going to feel bad if I don't really get him something.

Re: fathers day.
As people get older, they aren't as fussy about presents as young people are. If you asked your dad, and got him something he needs or wants, he'd appreciate it more than if you got him something he didn't like.

Re: fathers day.
How about getting a nice picture frame, and in it put a nice pic of you and your family, or of you with your dad?

My dad wants just a card as I see him everyday, even though he doesn't live with me

Re: fathers day.
Make something. Write him a really nice letter. Presents are really just objective things. If you want to give him something special give him something that will bring tears to his eyes (in a good way, of course).
