1. Do you consider a friend (or your friends in general) your family? Why?
- I don't really consider them my family, so no. The friend that I am closest to is often times mistaken for my sister. We do have some similar characteristics, so I understand the mistake. I wouldn't go as far as calling her my sister though.
2. Are friends or family members more important to you?
- I think family is more important to me. Your family has always been there, since day one. The moment of your birth you were a part of them. No matter what happens between you and a member of your family, they are still family. As for a friend, they haven't always been there. They might mean a lot to you, but that could change. After a single brutal fight, you can stop calling them a friend, that would be it. I don't find the label "friend" as permanent as "family."
I can see someone picking apart my response, but I don't care, that's just how I view it.
