Kinda, I mean we communicate on a daily basis, but it's like I've always been mostly independent. I used to be a lot closer to them I think before I came out, but things haven't really changed that much now that I think about.

Yeah. I'd say we're pretty close. I've learnt practically everything from my dad and my mum's always there. So it's all good.

My parents are wonderful people.  Of course, there are always moments when I wish I was a little more independent of them, but I figure that can wait until college and after. |

Eh... we're close-ish. I fight with them fairly often (more so during the school year) but I still love them, and they love me--we're just... fighty people, if that makes sense. I don't really tell them that much about how I'm feeling or how my life is going--I prefer to keep that to myself. But still, like I said, I love them and they love me.

Me and my mom are fairly close, but my dad lives out of the country.
Even if he was here, we don't ever get along.
He's an abusive asshole.

I used to want my parents to die, and they knew it. But I realized that no matter what I've done or going to do they will always love me no matter what. When I had the epiphany our relationship got so much better. I know I sound corny but my parents are part of a select few that I really love.

I'm close to my mom. We actually talk about her day at work and my day at school. We talk about problems that we can't work out on our own or need a second opinion on. I consider that close.
As for my dad, no. We aren't close. I see him four to five times a year, because of holidays or school breaks. The majority of the time we do get to spend together his girl friend and my little cousin are with us, so there isn't a lot of bonding going on.

Well I love my parents most of the time but of course they are just like any other parent at times. just nagging on about how i dont do anything and making fun of me.LOL? but other than that they are just peachy-keen with me

I love my parents, but we all understand we have differences with them, whether it's rare or a lot. No matter what though, you normally share unconditional love for them
