Re: Am I OverReacting?

Thanks for the replies, guys and gals! Sorry it’s taken me so long to get back, but it’s so nice to have so many replies!

I’m really glad to hear that you guys think that I’m not over-reacting! And it’s also good to know that you all think that he’s just an average weight and not fat.

I agree 100% with you, SimpleGirl! If Fergus was wearing a shirt, then maybe I could understand that they didn’t notice how full he was getting, but he was only wearing swimming shorts, so everyone could see the physical effects of their force-feeding. They could see his belly expanding and growing more and more bloated as they forcefed him the burgers, but they didn’t even think about stopping.

sorry for my english. its not my first language so it may be hard to read.
Your English is fine, hun. I’m sorry to hear that you think he’s fat, but I did ask for complete honesty, so I should be glad I guess. I’ve felt his tummy once or twice: it’s quite soft and a teensy bit squishy so I guess he may have a bit of extra weight around his belly (but I think it’s puppy fat). But I’m not too sure what you mean by: “if your belly can stretch that far, that is yur maximum capasity and your natural bodyform.” I’ve seen Fergus without a top on before, and even though his tummy bulges out a bit even when he hasn’t eaten anything, his belly isn’t always completely bloated like it was that day. It only swells to that kind of size when he eats a ton of food and gets really overstuffed, so I don’t think that a bloated belly is Fergus’ natural body form.

Also yopro, thanks for your tip about checking to see if he’s fat or not. I’ve never heard of that test before. I would really like to try it and find out, but it would be too awkward for me to ask him if I could pinch the fat on his tummy without some sort of good reason. I really don’t know what I could say that would allow me to do that without making things awkward between us.

Thanks for saying that AbrilNOut, but truthfully, I’m the lucky one to have a good friend like him. That’s why I got so upset when other people take advantage of his niceness and end up making him uncomfortable. Megan is also my good friend too, but she’s too stubborn to admit that she was wrong for forcing Fergus to eat so much that his belly got utterly stuffed and bloated. I don’t know what I could say to convince her to apologise to Fergus so that the two of us can be friends again.

Lots of Love,
Lissa xx
