This has been bothering me for some time. I have a good friend and it's a solid friendship etc but I seem to have a problem with jealousy. She's a girl and there are loads of guys in our group of friends (and also girls though) and I feel like I have to compete. For example, one guy in our group seems also to be quite good friends with her and I always get jealous when he's talking to her. I seem to be paranoid that I might be pushed to the side or she get better friends with her.
It's quite pathetic and ****ed up I suppose, really, but I love her to bits (friend-way) so it gets to me. I may feel something more for her, but that's out of the question, I wouldn't want to do anything. She also has a long-term bf, but that's not the reason for this hang-up.
that is jux sumthin that u r gonna need 2 talk over with ur friend... let her know how u really feel and dont hold nething back... that will make yalls friendship soooo much stronger... just do it... trust me

I would advise you to sit down with your friend and talk to her about it, ask what she would be willing to do to help you with this, and also what she thinks you could do.
Talk to you friend. And if she doesn't listen then she really isn't your friend. But don't think she is better than you. Because no one is better than someone .

same with me and my best friend! its really annoying because you think they get the upper hand for some reason i dont know what to say as i am going through the same thing and cant figure out what to do!
