I see what you mean Ken, it would be immensely difficult to make friends like that. Honestly now that i told him i don't feel it mandatory to tell anyone else, for now. Haha.... It's really not even bad to come out. Granted i don't really care if people like me or not, so if they didn't accept it i'd be ok. But i would be a rather unhappy that we as humans still are so unaccepting, and still so close minded. It doesn't help that i live in a completely Republican state either.

That is awfully similar to my situation. I know a blond named Justin that defends gays, but is straight. I haven't told him that I'm bi though. I asked him one time what he would do if I was gay. He said something along the lines of, "I don't know, that might be a bit weird." He has also said that if he was gay, he would quote, "change".
