So i am a proud bisexual (90% gay 10% strait atm)teen, but its still been difficult to adjust to my new life. So far, i've lost 6 old friends, one side of my family and even my dad. anyone else had shit lke this happen to them when the come out? Im not flamboyant or anything, so i dont see what couldbe so differant about me to them.

haha Yeah. I literally had a friend come at me on the street when they found out. Not "come at me" in a sexual way. More like a fists flailing way. People react really strongly to stuff like that. I don't think it's so much because they don't like you...more so that they're scared.

Humans have an inherent tendency to be afraid of things they don't know or don't understand. It's genetic...it helped us survive the cave years. Unfortunately, all it does now is create a lot of trouble.

I think the best thing to do is just focus on realising that you are who you are. What are you going to do to change that? Nothing. You don't want to. You're family and friends are going to be the ones at a loss in the end. They're the ones losing someone close to them over something petty.
