Well I just came on my period and I have a two hour exam tomorrow. Usually I would stay of school on the first day by lying to my mum and saying i'm ill but i can't tomorrow because I have to go to this exam, I'm really scared like what if I leak or something? Two hours is a long time when your heavy :/

I think i'm going to go to the doctors and get the pill from now on. However I dont know if he'll let me because i get migranes :/ (anyone knoww anything about that).

The real problem is tomorrow... Any advice on what I can do about the exam and having to sit there? How can I be 100% sure not to leak?

So change your pad/tampon RIGHT before you go in. I highly doubt you'll bleed through in two hours. If you're really that concerned, double up: use a pad and a tampon.

Doctors are pretty strict about giving the pill to migraine sufferers, you'll just have to talk to them about it but being on the pill made me lighter. I rarely get bad pains anymore either.

Hello i feel for you im basically was the same i really suggest trying to get on some kind of conceptive in order to help with heavy periods i was the same i had tons of days off cause i was frightened i would leak there are alot of different pills you can try theres different brands so im sure one will cater for you

i thought girls dont were pads anymore? that must be funny to see a girl wearing a pad it would make her but look big

I'm sure they allow you bathroom breaks if needed, so change an hour in to be extra safe.

god my mom gave me thick pads b4 and some guy at school comented as i walked by >x< ugh!
but eh not all pads are like that only some :/ i prefer smaller ones thats just me lol
it isnt that much of a problem doubling up like that with both pad and tampon would work like some have said or like someone menchioned useral is a good thing teachers do is give breaks to use the rest room so then u can change out when u can

I really doubt you'd bleed through in 2 hours. just make sure to change before you go in, & i'd double up if I was having serious concerns.
Oh, and being heavy you may want to look into getting some menstrual cups -I've heard good things.
