How old do you have to be to visit the doctor without a parent in California?
I want to go to the doctor bout a personal issue but I don't want my parents to know about it. |

I'm not sure about California, but most states enforce a confidentiality thing, where if you tell the doctor something, and tell them not to tell your parents, they cannot disclose any information, unless it is something dangerous. But I don't know about the age limit.

i would say that it would be around 13? my parents encourage me to talk to my doctor alone so i have no problem telling the truth about whats going on. So you should be able to talk to him alone.

Well it depends if u know ur docter enough.
If you know him/her and are buddie buddie liek with me and my docter, just take the buss/walk there and ask if he/she has a minute and talk.
