Meeting Internet people

Hi,

I need ideas for how to kill time when I meet people from the internet, in a few weeks' time or so. It's myself and two others (none of us have met before), and we've decided that we're all going to be nervous and not very talkative. And nobody likes awkward silences ¬¬

We'll probably see a film but that doesn't use up much time... any ideas? We're meeting in Cardiff, if there's anything interesting happening there soon.

It wasnt really as awkward for me as i thought it would be. Depends how well you know the person really. Knew the girl for like 3 years before i met her in person.

Interesting,..well as long as you know the people(and are CerTaiN! {sorry}) then everything should be fine, I'm assuming you acted as you normally would through the internet, so why should this be different? If they want to meet you, they're somewhat interested in you, so just be yourself.

Yeah... If you found what to talk about online, you'll find what to talk about in real life. Don't worry. Just don't be nervous, go with the flow, and be yourself. You'll be alright =]

I'm a big fan of getting drinks or lunch. Having something to put in your mouth really makes the times when nothing comes out (words) less awkward. You could try going bowling, that's fun, and it gives you all something to focus on and talk about if all else fails.

Anyway, when I first met people from the internet it was strange. They look... different. I didn't even recognise one of the people I was meeting until he like, said "Hi?" and I was like "Oh haha". It was awkward. It was me, and 3 others, 2 girls who knew each other IRL and 1 guy, 1 girl and a guy had met before, so they were quite talkative, but I was dead silent.

It's great fun though and I'm so glad I did it. So yes, even if I buttrape you, it'll be dead ace.
