ok so i wont go into full detail(aka a 3 page rant) about my problems so ill give you a the quick version.

-beginning of high school got sick(very sick)was missing so much school that parents decided to put me in a out of class school(kind of like home school but i just go to get weekly assignments from a teacher at a small office in a strip mall)
so now that im better im in grade 12 but i cannot rejoin school because i only need a few credits to graduate.
during 11th grad almost every single one of my friends either moved away/got in to drugs/were killed so i have like nobody to talk to.
-so i cant meet anyone at school
-got a job working at a neighbors drywalling company so i cant meet anyone my age there as they are all 30s-40s and i dont want to quit to work somewhere with people my age because the money is amazing.
-for the last few years i was overweight and that with no friends caused me to sort of become shy and insecure about myself,but now that ive lost the weight i still feel that way.

and yes that was the short version.

so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas where/how i could meet some people my own age?

Join a gym

Ditto that, it gets you something to make yourself busy and happy.

Great idea! I made a couple of friends at gym awhile back.

A gym would be a start but if you plan on going to college then you can make oodles and oodles of friends there. Yes I just said oodles and oodles.
