Soap is on a distinguished road

Help with my cat

I've got this cat for almost 5 years now, she's lazy, sleepy, and plays on rare occasions.

Yesterday, everything was FINE with her.

Today, she WILL NOT stand on the carpet, or on the floor, as soon as i pick her up, and put her on the floor, she gets panicked, and runs to the nearest tall object, on which she climbs; shes mowe-ing all of a sudden, allthough no one is bothering her or anything.

Help?

PS: almost never took her to a vet, only one time, when she got castrated.

Re: Help with my cat

Well, as long as her not standing on the floor isn't causing any serious problems, I would just let it go. Cats can sometimes act very strange for no reason, but it doesn't sound like anything serious. Just give her a couple of days and see what happens.

marypaintscars can only hope to improve

Re: Help with my cat

Monitor eating and bathroom habits, watch for lethargy... if these change, it probably needs a trip to the vet...

Next time, don't ask such dumb questions.

castrate - definition of castrate by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.

Re: Help with my cat

Sounds like your cat lacks discipline. Like all animals, cats crave rules and boundaries. Give your cat clear limitations on acceptable behavior and assign it chores. If it fails to meet expectations, use corporal punishment to teach it better. Be consistent.
