My parents are forever pressuring me to become a doctor. My sister studies law and will be a lawyer, so its up to me to be the doctor of my family considering both my younger 2 brothers are completely rubbish at studies.

Just finished my A levels, awaiting results, and off to med school next March .

The problem is, I dont really feel like being a doctor. Or anything else for that matter. I wouldn't mind being a doctor but, in my country at least, you need to be a houseman for like 2 years ( become like a trainee doctor ), and supposedly, they work your ass off 24/7. You are always on-call etc ( because my country lacks doctors badly ), and there was even a report that one of 2 new doctors in my country undergo mental diseases like depression XD. What should I do ?

I don't wanna sound harsh, but the job you train for in your studies is entirely upto you. You shouldn't be pressured into doing something you don't really want to do. It's you that's got to do it at the end of the day. I say study whatever you want to do, explain that you can get a good job, just not that.

Hey man,
I reckon that if you don't feel like doing it, and you're worried about your mental health and other issues, don't do it. You're going to be part of life and death situations and its not fair on yourself or the patients if you're not 100% commited. Maybe try to find something else that you are commited to, and would be benefical.
