I wear loafers all the time but it seems that people think they are bad or old men shoes. I am 17 years old and I think are wonderful. What I want to know is why people think they are just for old men or bad?

People think they're old men shoes because a lot of old men do wear them. That doesn't make them bad though. Loafers are far more classy than some shitty old trainers in my opinion.

It's all about whatever you want to wear. If you want to wear loafers then good for you and I agree with you. Don't let people's stupid associations stop you.

I've seen some guys my age wearing loafers and they were guys who were completely confident in wearing whatever they thought looked good. I think loafers can be cute, but having confidence in wearing them and not caring-- that's what makes it look best!
