I'm going through sort of an I-don't-know-who-I-am-anymore phase right now, and I'm curious about a few things. Fill out the following with your honest opinions, don't hold back. And please don't say "I don't pay attention to that", because I doubt there's a single person on this planet who doesn't judge people, even if they keep it to themself.
What I Think When I See Someone Wearing...
Abercrombie/Hollister:
Hot Topic:
Nike/Other sports brand:
Roxy/Other surf or beach brand:
Belly shirt, short shorts, etc.:
True/False...
I won't be friends with someone who I don't think is "attractive":
I will befriend someone solely because they're attractive:
I believe that you can tell a person's personality by their hair color:
I will only befriend someone who shops at the same stores that I do:
I believe that clothing represents someone's personality:
Abercrombie/Hollister:
I think "Wow, I wonder where all that money that they are spending on their clothes goes... Stupid consumerism"
And then I think that they're probably tools, but I won't judge. Hot Topic:
Honestly, I think that I probably wouldn't get along with them and that they're trying to be "different" or "unique" but whatever.
Nike/Other sports brand: LOL. You're not playing sports right now, silly.
Roxy/Other surf or beach brand: This isn't California.
Belly shirt, short shorts, etc.: Hm. They look to young to be wearing that.
True/False...
I won't be friends with someone who I don't think is "attractive": False.
I will befriend someone solely because they're attractive: True.

Hot Topic:
Kinda emo maybe. Not really like whoreish or anhything. But still kool and not like a loser..a lot of my friends could b in this 'group'
Nike/Other sports brand:
Anything really..
Roxy/Other surf or beach brand:
Same as hollister..maybe not as bad.
Belly shirt, short shorts, etc.:
Kinda like a little kid..is what i think of...
True/False...
I won't be friends with someone who I don't think is "attractive": False..but now that I think about it I'm better friends with girls who I think are at least a little attractive
I will befriend someone solely because they're attractive: Possibly...idk.
I believe that you can tell a person's personality by their hair color: False
I will only befriend someone who shops at the same stores that I do: False
I believe that clothing represents someone's personality: True..mostly

Why don't you dress how you want and not worry so much about what other people think about you? If you look decent and dress as though you have some form of self-respect, only the shallowest of the shallow will turn their noses up at you.
What I Think When I See Someone Wearing...
Abercrombie/Hollister: I'm not American so I don't really know what that is.
Hot Topic: See above.
Nike/Other sports brand: I don't think it looks good really, especially if the person isn't doing sport.
Roxy/Other surf or beach brand: It looks a little silly in a landlocked city like Sheffield, where I live.
Belly shirt, short shorts, etc.: A belly shirt?

I believe that clothing represents someone's personality: To a certain extent.
Hot Topic: (This is kind of different because Hot Topic is just a retailer... like Macy's or Target. They aren't really a clothing brand. They just sell clothing that is music oriented. Unlike above which is a brand.")
"They like music."
Nike/Other sports brand: "Wait, am I in a track meet?"
Roxy/Other surf or beach brand: "Well that's nice... considering were in Texas."
Belly shirt, short shorts, etc.: (Depends if they got the goods for it)
-well obviously. my answers were quite on the sarcastic side.-

I believe that clothing represents someone's personality: True. It''s basically a window for it. Unless the person is a poser or something.

I said that I was going through an I-don't-know-who-I-am-anymore phase, that's why I created this survey. I wanted to hear others' opinions on different brands of clothing and what they thought those brands/styles represented. Right now, as I mentioned above, I really have no idea who I am, much less whether I prefer Abercrombie over Hot Topic, Nike over Roxy, etc. But thanks for the advice.

Hot Topic may not "officially" be a brand, but like with Abercrombie and Hollister, you can always tell when someone's clothes come from there.
