hey, i've wanted to get some for ages, but my parents are really high on the no make up thing.
But i wear it anyway. uhh but i'm so white, but not albino. I live in Australia, we have Bondi Beach for goodness sake.
So i kinda want to have some backup for when they find out.
My mum dyes her eyelids. How is that different from wanting to look slightly sunkissed?
Do what you need to do to make yourself feel good. its your body do what you want with it. your parents will get over it. i wouldn't get cream though... there really not good. it might be hard getting a natural tan now since its almost winter but you should defiantly try since you live in bondi! if you really want one id go for a spray or a tanning sun bed... not a cream (:
Try to get some lotion or something, and maybe they won't notice too much. If they see you daily they won't notice the color change too much. Try the dove tan lotion, I use that, I don't look orange and it works suddly.
yeh thanks. no i don't actually live in Bondi, but i was using it as an example for people who don't live in Australia.
Because people in Australia have more of a chance of gettign a natural tan, than people for example in England.
Thanks guys, i'll try the Dove Tan Lotion. I really don't want it that tanned, just slightly sunkissed.
do you think you could run me through as to how to effectivly use the Dove Summer Glow Body Tanning Lotion?
I just don't want to look a tryer if someone notices.
thanks x
I use this type of tanner, the lotion with just a little bit of tanner in it because I am a redhead - make sure you get the one for fair skin. When you put this on do it just like you would do lotion, rub it in really, really good. When you are going over rough spots like knees and elbows make sure you bend them so they don't get streaks - and MOST important (I've never read this anywhere, it's what works for me) I take a paper towel and rub all over really good to make sure that there were not spots that the lotion was not worked into. The great thing about this lotion is that the color is so gradual your parents won't know about it. If you put a coat on after you get out of the shower every day, or every other day, it won't be obvious. Make sure you wash your hands really good so you don't have stains on your hands. If your parents to catch you you can just pretend you thought it was lotion, they keep it with all the other lotions at the store it would be an easy mistake to make. Enjoy your tan!
