what is the best foundation/powder
So I have never been one to wear foundation or powder... But I would like to start wearing it on nights out.
I usually wear Mascara, eyeliner, and concealer under my eyes (Lancome Effacernes)
the lancome concealer works great because it matches my skin so I don't need powder of it... but I have another concealer from Merle Norman which brightens my eyes a lot but it looks bad without powder and stuff
so I was wanting to know what is the best foundation and powder. I don't get the difference between the two though. I have freckles around the t zone and I have light skin.

Re: what is the best foundation/powder
haha thats weird.. because I was doing a google search, and I started to think that I should wear a bronzer instead to make my skin have some color
is a bronzer a foundation replacement? should i wear powder over it?

Re: what is the best foundation/powder
well foundation is meant to match the colour of your skin and bronzer adds colour to it. So you can if youw ant use foundation then bronzer over the top, but I hardly ever use foundation just deoends on what you want to do. I prefer bronzing pearls asweel..

It's not a foundation replacement, but it can be a replacement for blush.
As for the best powder/foundation, I don't really use either because I have really nice and clear skin, but when I used to have acne I would use a clinique pressed powder. I think it was the stay matte sheer pressed powder, but I'm not entirely sure. I just looked on their website and there's several different ones, but I think that's the one I used to use. It's really good.
Occasionally I wear a translucent SPF mineral powder if my face is really shiny because of my mosturizer, the one I have is from raw minerals, but it's not the same as a pressed powder, which is a type of foundation essentially but better for your skin.

Re: what is the best foundation/powder
I use a revlon colorstay one.
It's pretty good but I mix it half and half with moisturiser becuase otherwise it's quite thick and I hate that. You shouldn't be able to see foundation on...
Maybe you should try them new mineral ones. I wanna try them myself!
They're powders that that look like foundation when on but it's barely noticeable and doesn't block your pores apparently.

Re: what is the best foundation/powder
i use Loreal Paris, Bare Naturale, gentle mineral makeup with and SPF of 19+ ..
its really really good. and it helps prevent pimples somehow :]
the only thing is, that its $38 or something around that price.
but if you want a really good foundation that lasts for ages and
doesnt come off if you sweat or anything, this is the one to go for (Y)
it works for me anyway.

Re: what is the best foundation/powder
I use mac liquid foundation. it's the best i've came across. more expensive than the average, but that's where my sister and her enployee discount come in handy. when i don't have that i use no. 7 or rimmel mousse foundation. All of them are good considering you get the right tone.

Re: what is the best foundation/powder
so I decided that I didn't want to look fake and stuff (and a lot of mac products do that, not trying to offend anyone)
so I went to sephora and they put bare minerals... cause my friend said it looked really good on me. I think it looked pretty good
thanks for all the posts

I just use a super drug foundation.
I don't use powder but i use bronzer, wouldn't be without it.
Mascara and eyeliner.
Lipgloss.
Perfect.

Re: what is the best foundation/powder
That maybelline matte mousee works wonders. [=
It completely covers everything and doesn't give you spots.
I've gone back to using that.
