i have a lot of hoodies mostly american apperal ones, the colors I have are pink, orchid, yellow, orange, mermaid green, and purple Flex Fleece Zip Hoody - Sweatshirts & Jackets - American Apparel Online Store Canada
well most guys at my school tell me taht the colors i chose are for girls, is there such thing as certain colors for each gender? |

Of course there aren't colors for each gender. It's not like pink is exclusively for women. However, many people tend to see pink (and such) as a color that women typically like, so it's not really the norm for guys to wear that color (as it makes them seem effeminent). But there is no rule saying that you cannot like or wear those colors regardless. | |

It's like Jenny said. Bright colors like pink or yellow or mermaid green...you don't usually see guys wearing them. But lately pink has been somewhat of a guy trend. T-shirts, dress shirts, and the like. So don't fret about it, hm? Maybe you'll be starting a new trend. Wear what you want.

I don't think there are certain colors for each gender. There's some boys at my school that wear purple jeans and that kind of colors.
I think everyone should dress themselves with the colors they like.  | |

I think there are colours that are more popular with different genders but that doesn't mean that they're set in stone! You're free to wear whatever you want, as long as you like and feel comfortable in it!  | |
