Hey; ok.
So I'm a Sophomore in high school now. For the second half of my Freshman year (after my backpack broke) I used a sort of, hard bottomed rectangular duffle bag to carry my books and stuff in. I grew to really like using it instead of a backpack, but a couple of my friends lightly made fun of me for it. I didn't really mind; I knew they were joking.
For the new school year, I decided the old bag wouldn't due and I set out to find a new backpack. However, after not finding any I liked, I stumbled across a beautiful artificially worn leather messengerbag. I bought it and it'll work perfectly.

However, I'm wondering what other people's opinon of messengerbags are. Are they normal, weird, stupid, what?
I've always had tastes for more obscure and lesser known or seen things, so I'm a bad judge.

Yeah, I want to do that if I get one made out of some sort of heavy cloth or something, but I figured that I'd probably regret putting pins through that leather one.
I want more and better pins to put in an overshirt/light jacket thing I love to wear. Its like a khaki green, and sort of military styled.

I've used one for the past two years at school. It hurts my shoulder when I carry a lot/heavy stuff. And not much can really fit into it. I'm probably gonna get a normal backpack this year.

Well, I kinda like them, but they're kinda crappy at holding things and are bad on your shoulders.
