An infraction is a simple warning that you have done something wrong. It's not the end of the world, so don't take it personally. There is no real consequence to receiving an infraction, unless you are a spammer or you frequently and blatently break the rules.


Informations regarding infractions:

- Yellow infractions are just warnings. Red infractions are the real deal and will incur points toward being banned. (No Longer Issued Warnings, we straight away give pointer infractions from now)

- When you view your infractions and the post says "Private" it means that the post you were infracted for has been deleted. If the post has not been deleted, you should be able to click the link and view the post.

- You can find Infractions in your profile or when you goto your UserCP if you have any.

- Each Infraction comes up with points. If you manage to rack up 10 infraction points, you will be banned temporarily untill they expire.

- Each Infraction also comes up with a set date by the Moderator/Administrator during which time you have Infraction points and after that expires.


Here is a list of what you can receive an infraction for and a brief explanation of why :-

Inappropriate post/thread - Although we are quite liberal, certain threads and posts are simply inappropriate. Examples of inappropriate posts would be porn and blatant vulgarity.

Inappropriate language/Intolerant Behavior - Cursing is not forbidden in this forum, but we expect it to be used minimally. Insulting other religions or showing racism also serves you with infractions.

Attacking/harassing other members - You are allowed to disagree with the opinions of other members but you are not allowed to attack the person or their circumstances.

Spamming/Advertising - If all or the majority of your posts are promoting or linking to your website or product. You will receive an infraction for spamming. You are only authorized to advertise in the "Advertising Agency" board and in your "Signature" and no where else.

I wanna say one thing about duplicate accounts. I have a brother who may also join, yet who has the same IP as me. Would that put me at risk for an accusation of having multiple accounts?
