help with sig
My signature has been deleted on the grounds of being "extremely nationalist". I feel that my signature should be allowed because it does not break any of the rules. My signature consisted of a picture of an American flag with the words "The Land of the Free" under it, which is a quote from the national anthem. It also consisted of my Myspace link under that.
First of all, this is not "extremely nationalist" it is merely patriotic. And second of all in the rules it does not state that patriotic signatures are not allowed or anything of that sort. The signature is not offensive nor does it contain any adult material. I have read the forum rules including the ones about signatures and I am certain that this signature does not break the rules and therefore should be allowed.

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed either. I have seen signatures that "bash" other countries. Why something patriotic isn't allowed is beyond me. |

A) It was the Union Flag (British Flag) not the English Flag.

and B) It said "Just my cup of tea" which was to play on the stereotype that apparently all Britons can't live without tea. I don't know if you have the saying "Just my cup of tea" in the US but it meant that this forum (and my country) was just what I liked.
c) I don't see why my name has been dragged in when I have nothing to do with the signiture that has been removed.

Tomski I thought you had an animated english flag that was 'blowing in the wind' so to speak with the words, Pride is not racism. Please correct me if I'm wrong but as soon as I saw your name and the mention of your old sig I thought of that one...
And as for the sig.. I see nothing offensive about the signature in question |

I did have an english one in my sig that was "blowing in the wind with the quote "Pride is not racism" yes It was a statment of fact and again I don't see why this is being brought up. This was not my avatar however. The only time I had a flag in my avatar (apart from my current one which is to do with history - The British Empire) was the Union Flag with the "My cup of tea" thingy.

i wasn't going against u or anything dude. but its the red and white flag i remember. so it was the english flag. i just mentioned you to say as an example that patriotism was allowed... i thought
i dont think my sig is against the rules or anything..

No no no no Tom... Seriously I didn't think that you removed it at all, when I was reading through this topic and someone mentioned your sig our of interest that was the one I thought of straight away.
I just thought that like, what's the difference between that sig and you previous one.
