Why is TeenHut so autocratic?

Firstly I do agree that a moderator editing someone's post is out of order and does give teen hut a bad name as why do that? why not just ban them or close the thread? or state your opinion back but not edit the post?

As for freedom of speech they do let you say what you want, hence this post is still here and they could easily of deleted it. I personally think teen hut is fair. for example i once spammed here and i got issued an infraction. If they were so unfair they would of banned me and never gave me a second chance but they did. (thank you)

If someone spammed my forum and said it was shit i would also delete that post as i mean who wouldnt? its pathetic someone saying that as why join in the first place?

this forum to me is fair and they stick to their rules, how can anyone complain? (obv other than them editing posts) which if they stopped then this site is flawless

Amazingly enough I don't know any "edited" posts of this so called thing. Though I do re-call deleteing several hundred topicd, all exactly the same of which were spam; I'm pretty sure that gave me rights to ban them. Especially when one told me to fuck off after I issued them a sweet infraction.

The fact that you automatically, and not just you I've received stupid remarks on my 'reputation board' for doing absolutely nothing other than stating I am from LiveWire, assume I am an idiot or a troll is really immature. I don't need abuse from 16-year olds with nothing better to do than harass others.

If members weren't so hostile to us if we haven't done anything perhaps we wouldn't think so less of this forum.

Nah, because it wasn't you then and it was a few months ago. Or perhaps it was just a corrupt moderator that slipped through the cracks. Either way I was disgusting by their actions.

Because I was promptly banned afterwards with no ability to make a complaint. Therefore I couldn't explain my distaste towards the moderation style, and I wasn't about to waste my time to sign up again when clearly it would have been of no use then.

Not surprising because it was a few months ago and my IP address would have changed quite a few times since then.

It is calm, but the hostility towards LW members is still here.

Okay, I don't believe the way LW members are treating automatically upon joining the site is fair, I can agree with you there. A lot of members overreact when they see that somebody is has joined here and is also a member of LW. You have to understand though that most LW members that do join TH do it only to insult TH and it's members.

I understand that, but why flame a member that's done nothing wrong? It's not like I'm spamming or I'm insulting others. In fact I've had nothing but a unpleasant experience since I got here and I've not made a foul remark towards one person. I've behaved and been acting like anyone else, yet I still get abuse.

Had you read my post fully you would see that I understand and I agree, it is not fair. You should not be mistreated by members just because you are from LW. I apologize for this. You must understand how TH members feel, I would say that probably 70-80% (and really, this is just a guess and is only in my experience of LW members which is just one "raid") came here only to created drama between LW and TH and to flame TH members. This being said TH members have a sort of predetermined distate for anybody from LW (not all TH members but that any of them feel this way is a bit silly) so I apologize on apart of TH for the way you have been recieved here but you must also understand our side.
