Money: 174 | Why is TeenHut so autocratic? This is a legitimate concern, and I'm not hating on TeenHut, but I just want to know the motives behind your actions.
Why are moderators here so autocratic? Why do you censor people's opinion should they not agree with you. Like if I were to post the fact that TeenHut sucks, or that LiveWire is better than TeenHut, I could expect the following things:
1) My post would either be deleted, or edited to reflect the fact that "TeenHut is ace", and completely destroy my opinion, and,
2) I would be most likely banned from here, with absolutely no reason given whatsoever.
I have no doubt that TeenHut is a somewhat decent forum, because clearly the users stay and you get new members.
That said, it's not welcoming at all to censor people's opinion just because you don't agree with it, or you think that it might give bad publicity to TeenHut. It doesn't hurt anyone and as long as they're not harassing people, what's the real harm?
We all have our own opinions and in this day and age this is a free world and we are entitled to express it. Why is TeenHut acting like China or Zimbabwe where they effectively kill off any ability for free speech and ban you (or kill you IRL) if they have a problem? What use is there?
Perhaps I'll get a decent response, or maybe I'll get exactly what I've described as being idiotic. Either way, things need to change if you really want some sort of supportive atmosphere and to reduce the hatred.

Give us a mature manner about it and we may reconsider. But to be honest, I don't get why people even make such hatred threads. It's a forum big deal. I don't care if you think LW is better than TH, I personally disagree with you.
But yeah, it's all about the expression of their posts. Like yours here, I personally believe it's reasonable. For now.

| We dislike such opinions. Teen Hut doesn't want "Teen Hut Sucks" topics. If you want to criticise about something wrong we did, you sure can, but our rules doesnt allow insulting our forum in our very own. That is not tolerated.

People need to learn to take criticisms for the better. Members shouldn't be living in fear for being banned for saying something a moderator doesn't like.
It's what makes the free world so great that I can stand up and say that "england sucks" or equally "America sucks" without fearing getting arrested, tortured or abused by the government.
Similarly TeenHut needs to learn to be able to take criticism. I get it when things get too far and all they do is spam, in that case it's fine if the topic is locked or deleted. But when a member wishes to express their thoughts and you don't even delete it, your moderators actually change my post, I take offence.
This shouldn't be like Zimbabwe where people fear for getting killed under Mugabe's control (even with the agreement between Tsvangirai and him) if they express an opinion that doesn't praise the country or the people.
Keeping an atmosphere like this is bad and will only contribute to the hatred instilled here in the first place. |

So well I allowed a topic against me which was 100% false go on for several hours until I found out that they had broken the rules in more than i expected and they were banned. Infact, I don't really care about critism, give me it and I'll just give an infraction. It's more hotter than a ban I say, though I am addicted to that button. I blame all those LW members, they've really made you sound silly now because in a sense you're defending them but what you claim we do about spamming they did 10x worse; and with porn at one point too.
Teen forum, not porn forum.

Etc...you get my idea.
Sometimes things get too strict here, we do are planning on improving are becoming more lenient.
