They're too dark and blurry and the quality kinda sucks

They are supposed to be dark... the orgionals before editing were not any where near as dark, but i decided to increase the shadows in these. A few are also supposed to be slightly blurry. Some however are not, but taking pictures in the rain without getting anything on the lens is not easy trust me.

They all feel kind of wrong, focused in the wrong places, not sure what you were trying to show in each one, but you should try it differently next time IMO.

They were all taken as to cause that second look of "why has that been focused there, it is all wrong" because that is simply the type of photography i like.

I swear to god that I was going to critique your photos, and god damn it i'm doing it now.

Actually never mind, there's nothing to critique, they all suck.

This one is marginally better than the others.
PROBLEMS: Half your image is empty space, because you underexposed the scene, only exposing for the clouds. While that's cool and all for showing off the power cables, besides having some rule of thirds in it, it's a boring image.
      3/10

And oh god... Please don't tell me that's motion blur.

QUICK NOTES: Taking blurry/out of focus pictures of UNINTERESTING subjects is bad photography. In my opinion, there is scarcely any worthwhile pictures.

EDIT #2: I noticed you have flickr. I can add you, if you want.

Ahaha that is actually my least favourite. The new stlye of photography i went for this time is so that it looks out of the normal and does not fit with the normal photography rules. This causes the 'second glance' that i am after because it makes the viewer think "thats not right" as you did and that is what im after. the style i went for is unusual and thus has a limited amount of viewers that actually enjoy them as they aren't the usual style and actually make you think. Its simply the style of photography i like. As for the 'camera shake' not motion blur as it isnt a film, but the camera shake is due to teh fact it was raining hard and i had one shot at this and just went for it. I also did not notice the camera shake so cheers for pointing it out.

Edit: yh add me if ya want.

The fact of the matter is, there is no interesting subject. Even those "limited" amount of viewers will still scratch their heads and say, "gee, what am I looking at?"

And photography does not have rules, they have guidelines. And these guidelines improve pictures. You tell me what's your favourite picture of the bunch, and I will argue against it.

Photography has guidelines that I break, I swap the focus point onto a different place that would not be oviously picked. I increase the shadowing to give the leaves or bars or whatever is in the image more of an outline. Photography has these guidelines and i dont follow them as that is the sort of photography i prefer, something that ignores the guidelines or rules, something different.

      My faves are:

      or

The second one i like as i have taken the change of focus away from normal guidelines totally.

DEAR GOD YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS.

First picture: I dislike THOROUGHLY, moreso than the others. Because there is no depth. Take this picture out of context, you'll have no clue what you're looking at. You're focused on the mossy concrete, and some shrubbery. The metal rising up towards the camera is OOF, and leaves little to the imagination as to what it could be. Awkward perspective, awkward composition.

      The second one...later. I'm tired.
