:O That is a lot of castles X( and meeep, I hope to visit lots of Europe's sites when I am older and have money -_-

It is impossible to master a language in any school :P One has to immerse oneself into a culture that speaks the language if one ever wants to learn a language fully! That is why I will MAYBE go to Germany in 4-5 (maybe more) years and do a work term or take some courses :)

You find the grammar very hard even though you are Polish?? x3 Meep. English has very simple grammar in many cases and I still find it hard sometimes! xD

  • Tieko -

    Meeep x3
You say it's too complicated to talk about you schooling right now, and your ambitions are undecided x3 you're much too mysterious, you need to decide on something! :P The world waits for no one!

Well I love castles too, so rock on Germany <3 Does Poland have many castles? :/ I am not so familiar with Polish history.. I just know it was kind of rough for them since they'd been a part of Prussia/German territory or Russian territory for a long time :/

-_- French... In Canada they make us learn it for like 6 years of school, but it is taught SOOO bad. I can speak more German from just like 3 months of classes than I can French from those 6 or 8 years. I agree, the pronunciation is stupid especially with all of the silent letters. I have heard that Polish pronunciation is rather weird though too so :P :P
You've had a lot of luck with English it seems though so I think you could do very well with another language :) German and English share about 30% of the vocab (very similar at least) so it may be easy in that sense - though German grammar is a biiiiitch x3

    -_______-
I think I just died a little bit inside. That 'Ich bau dir ein Schloss' is WAYYY too happy sounding xD If it wasn't German I would delete it from my computer, but I can justify keeping it for it's teaching capacity xD

  • Tieko -

:D They certainly sound happier. What is with Germans and building castles? I know of another song where the woman sings "ich bau dir ein Schloss aus Sand" x3 I will certainly try them though :)
-_- Ug, sooo much German lately, I have a presentation tomorrow in my German class on Lebkuchen :( I am not sure if it will be long enough, but I spoke with another group and they seemed to be in worst shape than us so maybe it will be okay x3  (That is a horrible way of thinking though).

So tell me about your hopes and dreams Piotr :) LOL xD I'm bored and don't know what else to write about xD I am in university for medical sciences so hopefully some day I can be a doctor and help people :) Then I hope to just have a nice cozy house (maybe fancy apartment) with good friends.

    Cool

What are you up to? ^^

  • hutson6 -

    no problem

  • Tieko -

:( I looked up the English lyrics for Symphonie... meep. I was definitely right in guessing it was about something sad... X( This is not what I need right now, but it sounds so beautiful that I cannot stop listening.

  • Tieko -

Well, he isn't singing about butterflies themselves  But the song is called butterfly (Schmetterling) and he is singing about a girl and calling her his treasure and his butterfly. I still think that is much cuter than North American rap which is basically the guy singing about random girls' asses x_X

:O :O :O :O :cries:Meeeeeep Symphonie and Irgendwas Bleibt sound so sad but so beautiful!!!! <3 I will have to look up the lyrics to them at some point so I have an idea of what they're singing about  But meeeep x3 I looked at some of their other song titles and they all seem to be themed around sadness?
I am still trying to decide if I like Das Beste, it is very very slow for most of the song and I feel like it should have had a part where it sped up X( But it is good because it shows that German words can sound beautiful :) :)

  • Tieko -

Yes :) I used to listen to them a lot, but now I mainly focus on Bushido and Tokio Hotel to help with my German.
Why do you not like Bushido? I think it is cute how he is a rapper but sings about butterflies xD Lol. As I said, I usually don't like rap, but that friend I told you of insists that Bushido is a good guy so I will respect him :)

Silbermond? No I haven't. I'll have to look into them tomorrow (now I am so tired but still have a bunch of homework to do X( ug. I should probably not be here on Teenhut xD).

  • hutson6 -

im sorry about that i hope it works out

  • Tieko -

:( O, well sorry to hear. I hope you can sort it out sometime soon. It's okay to be in high school at that age though, a lot of my friends stayed for an extra year in high school.

Swimmersss  :P I like to swim too, especially at our cottage. But I don't like to swim so much at public pools because I always feel self conscious X(
You have never heard of Bushido? He is very popular in Germany and they just released a movie out about him *_* He is a rapper, and usually I hate rap but it is Deutschrap so I find it much better than North American shit :)
D: Friends xD Well you should send a message to my Polish friend here! I am sure he would love to get a message in Polish, though I am not sure how often he comes to Teenhut anymore... He calls himself pikechu here though :p

  • hutson6 -

im doing good how about you?

  • Tieko -

You're 19 and still in high school? Is that common for Polish students? I don't turn 19 for a week or so x3

Sports -______- Not so much, I've never been too interested in sports xD I used to play lacrosse but then I stopped because I realized I was only playing it to make my dad happy :/ I try to jog during the summers but otherwise I'm not very sporty

Ummm, I listen to a lot of stuff. x_x I just looked on my iTunes list and the groups/singers that I have the most songs for are Tokio Hotel, Bushido, Lady Gaga, My Chemical Romance, Faber Drive, Secondhand Serenade, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Metric... and ya, lots more stuff :P I have some Polish music from my friend too :) I have the song Cicho by Ewa Farna which my friend mentioned to me because he said Tieko reminded him of that Polish word xD I also have some Iza Lach, but I only listen to that when I need to really calm down xD
    What about you?

So why are you here on Facebook anyways? :) Did you come to further your English, or to discuss problems or?

  • Tieko -

Meepz x3 I use a pseudonym because once someone saw me online and sent me a bunch of homophobic remarks over Facebook :/ So this makes things more cautious.

Haha! xD Yes, But do you know how big Canada is? Most cities are very far from the beauty Canada has xD It is not like Europe where the beauty is in and around the cities. The only hope you would have of living in a place where there is beauty around you is if you lived in the far west of Canada in British Columbia (a province). My family shares cottage on one of the Great Lakes though, which is nice :) Though you are probably thinking of different lakes.

No :( :( I have never been to Europe, I have only left Canada once to go to Florida (I hated it -_-) But I hope to travel to Europe in maybe 3 or 4 years to do some studying at a British or German university :)

Are you in university or what's up in your life? xD

  • Tieko -

Meep, my friend came to my Facebook and said she needed to talk :( Her boyfriend is such a jackass, but sorry I became distracted.

Tieko is a pseudonym, but we'll go with that :) I don't like my given name anyways  And everyone else calls me that here so I like it like that.

Why do you love Canada? :/ It is so... bland? What have you heard that you like?

  • xyz123456 -

    I'm great and yourself? :D

  • Tieko -

:D Eastern European names are awesome , at least they look awesome to an anglophone like meee.

I live in Canada -__- Soo far away from Europe and all the fun that goes on in the world
Your English is very good by the way :) I know in Germany they learn English in school from a very young age, is it the same in Poland?

  • Tieko -

:D Piotr! Obviously this is your true Polish name then? I have a friend I met here on Teen Hut who is also Polish, but he lives in Germany :)

Are you living in Poland right now or??

  • Tieko -

Meep :P You're lucky I saw this, I rarely come to Teen Hut anymore xD

I'm okay :) a little stressed but who isn't right?

How about you? it says you've been here since 2007 but I don't recall ever having seen you post before D:
