Hey there, PPL has taken a bit of a back seat recently. Spending quite a bit of time focussing on Uni which is making it difficult. Planning on scheduling my exams pretty soon though. The annoying this is that obviously the demand for assessment in Australia is lower so CASA theory exam periods don't come around that often.
Yeah, it is in Scotland. Very cold, though, but I really like it.
I've considered teaching. People tell me I'd be good at it but the problem is, I don't want to end up doing teaching because there was nothing else better to do (which is what I reckon most teachers are doing in their job). Studying yet more history and doing a doctorate would be pretty cool as well, but I don't know how much that is and I don't think that I'm quite of the academic frame of mind - or at least that's how it feels with two essays due in at the end of this weekend and almost no free time :P.
I've considered journalism as well, and done a few articles in the student newspaper with an eye to it, but honestly, I haven't got a concrete clue.
And piloting sounds awesome.
I'm at Edinburgh University doing History. My plan amounts to doing History for 4 years and hoping a better plan presents itself in the meantime :P.
What do you do, out of interest?
I know. I've basically stopped posting because of it.
Lukla I don't know what I'd do without you around. Some of these posters are ridiculous.
I always thought he hated everyone except great mother Russia.
Good point I almost developed Stockholm syndrome. Well I am happy for one thing. We aren't being modded if we don't agree.
I seriously can't believe how much TH has changed. at times like these I almost miss Sasha.
How did he become an event manager? How long has he been in school?
I think were being trolled. That or he is honestly doesn't know any better.
Question is, how did you gather so much knowledge on a variety of issues? What's the secret?
I'm jealous of your ability to be so eloquent and informational on just about every topic in the Debate section. That and you're usually very meticulous with your opinions.
OK, I messed up that rep to you, it was supposed to say "+1" :p
It may well be the case. Which is unfortunate given that the D&D board is currently offering such gripping topics as Ground Zero Mosques and the existence of luck, but understandable. What is he now, 26?
Yeah it was deleted. Wow. This is just ridiculous.
It was a lot of fun. I've been there before when I was younger, but it's been years so I decided to go back. Millennium Force was great, but honestly Top Thrill Dragster (I think it's a horrible name - they need to change it) is way overrated. It's so fast you have no time to feel the height. You're up there for literally 0.3 seconds and then you're back down, and it twists as it descends, so all you see are metal bars and poles, and then before you know it you're going straight and slowing down. It's worth the ride, though, just not as great as people would like you to believe.
My favourites there were Millennium Force and Maverick. I didn't remember Maverick, but it changes direction so fast and smoothly that it was just an incredible ride. Totally unexpected, too. It's a ride that actually shoots you over the hill rather than letting gravity do the work.
As for good coasters here in Canada... we have Behemoth. That's about it haha. It opened a few years ago at Canada's Wonderland.
I've tried to rep you 3 or 4 times today but I need to spread some more around, apparently. And yeah, its humorous. We've had some crazy ones lately, it appears.
Haha, you are a cruel and humorous friend.
This poster is despicably ignorant (in the BB thread.)
I appreciate your posts for the intelligent material they are.
Depends. If Sasha's shenanigans continue, then probably not.
Sorry, I've been away all this weekend so that's probably got something to do with how it feels. I'll be renewing my activity though; as long as there's one good thread I'm there (and I'm thinking of starting a few, I've been through endless talks with my friend who's a Philosophy student and some interesting stuff's been thrown up).

The Ripplemagne approves of the Lukla.
Niiiice. Your rep gave me another green blob!!
I imagine things like UVIP will be restored. I didn't pay for mine, though; Rob donated it to me. I'd PM Mayank to sort it out. Regardless of the site's database, there should be a financial record of the transaction somewhere (did you pay via Paypal?).
Not here. I asked to have my account closed but due to the unjustified and unfounded rule of not closing accounts with more than 500 posts, it wasn't. In any case, I was bored and decided to revisit and take a gander at what's been going on. I won't be nearly as active as before, though.
How have you been?
Dude, you play COD4?! I've been playing forever on the PC but haven't known anyone on there. Everyone I know who owns the game plays it on the 360 or PS3. What kind of games do you play? Recently I've been sniping in team death match games, and going knife/pistol in FFA.
How was your vacation, dude? Go anywhere cool?
I haven't been off this damned island.
26 or something in the mid twenties, I've been told...
