I miss talking to you, gurl.
Not much. You? How's your foot?
idk. I'm just bored.
I appreciate the fact that you've had the patience, to clarify my ignorance on Australian matters. Thank you.
That's so weird xD Do people get angry that you're selling them a crappy phone or something? Or they're just not in the right mind. At my old job, my client would occasionally have autistic fits where he'd just go into rage mode and try to bite me. But it was an expected part of the job.
o_o Where do you work? My work was really lame, but now I'm unemployed because of the medical issues right now. xD But when I was working, there was nothing really to talk about. It was just glorified babysitting.
Hahah, normally mine is, too. Whenever something DOES happen to me that's worth talking about, it's almost always medical. Like when I posted about my kidney stones a while back. It just seems that's the only thing that's interesting about my life. Although now that I'm back in school, that might change.. Like talking about my Early American History teacher, Alejandro. He's Mexican, and has a really heavy accent. Plus he's very talkative and everything. So he'll go on this long winded lectures and he'll start talking really fast.. and his accent makes it hard to understand him sometimes.. So apparently in his other class, Modern American History, he was talking about D-Day. And he said "There were 5 beaches in France." His accent made him sound like he said "There were five BITCHES in France." Sweet guy though. xD
Yeah, plus the doc I'm going to be seeing is like.. a specialist of specialists. xD He's a Cardiologist, but then goes even further as to be a specialist for the electrical part of the heart, like the nerves and everything. So I'm in good hands.
What's been going on in your life? :3 We've been talking about me the whole time. xD I'm such a self-centered jerk.
Well, I don't know if the GOVERNMENT itself didn't make the requirement, but the school did. The teachers get a say in what they teach, but for some subjects like the computer course, the school has set guidelines. Mostly because they're trying to make the school look better and fancier. @.@
Yeah, although it's not really surgery even. They put me under anesthesia so I don't feel it, because they're sticking the catheter INTO my neck and down the artery. But there's no cutting. it's just like getting an IV, but it's in your neck. And they use a computer and camera to see where they're going all the way down into the heart. And then the tip of the catheter has a thing to cauterize the tissue, causing it to scar and make it more resistant to the brain's signals.
Catheter ablation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It's a short wiki article if you want to look at it.
Oh, I manage, too. I take antidepressants, allergy medicine, and some medicine to help me sleep xD But the meds they'd have to put me on for this heart problem are things that elderly people usually take. Like.. I'd really screw with me. Especially since most of the time, my heart's fine. Just occasionally it reads the signals from the brain wrong and freaks out and send my heart into hyperdrive basically. xD
I'd tell my teacher that, except she sympathizes with us. She isn't the one who made the program, but she's required to use it because of the school. IF she had her own choice, she would let us go without buying the book.
Oooh yeah. I'm annoyed with the school because the Computer Applications class I"m taking requires me to purchase the textbook and get the access code from it so I can log onto the website and do my class work. So I can't even buy the book used. And the book costs 180 dollars. Which is stupid because I KNOW how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and all that crap. xD It's not like I haven't been around computers my whole life.
And I'm fine, but medically, I've been better. xD I should clarify that. Not everything's all well and dandy, but I'm still fine. :J I have some heart issues and recently the doc found out it's SVT. SupraVentricular Tachycardia. So I have to get an appointment with a specialist who will decide how he's going to take care of it. Either medication or catheter ablation. I hope they do the cath ablation because it's a permanent fix (They stick a catheter into the carotid artery and down into my heart, then cauterize the area causing the problems), whereas the medication means taking pills for the rest of my life. Oddly enough, I'm not worried about the heart issues, I'm just worried about getting it done ASAP so I can continue with life and dealing with everything else. xD Like school and it's ridiculous costs.
I'm fine :3 But I like the idea of the "R U Okay?" thing. Go Australia! Anyways, I figured I'd use this as an excuse to message you, since we haven't really talked much. And since I'm free to rant, I'm going to say one simple thing..
Screw college textbooks and their ridiculous prices!
How are you? 8D
Thanks for all your help.
You're a wonderful source of information :D.
Also, I dunno if you care, but I talked with people at my school and there's this thing where a therapist will come once a week to discuss stuffs with you. So, I got onto that program. Suppose to start next week.
Isn't Magical Rainbow Week from the person who made Anxiety Girl?
Oh, you know who I am already? Hahah, that can't be good. x[
Nothing much, I wanted to apologize for the other night. I was quite distracted in the conversation and I felt like I may have been a bit rude by seeming distant. I don't even think I introduced myself to you. D:
