Nooooo I'm half Palestinian.
My fathers family moved around a lot... They left Kuwait because of the war and moved to Jordan. I stayed with them from July until September last year in a small town called Zarqa. It's very poverty stricken... And with my dad being successful in this country and becoming a millionaire last year while I was out there... We help the best we can for them.

I suck at reading/writing usually. Even though I can read and write pretty good, I'm by far better at speaking/understanding.

Sometimes I lose my touch with me hardly having to speak it here... But I got all of my touch back when I went to Jordan to see my family for 2 month on my own. Couldn't believe it

It wasn't very difficult except for thr 'ragado' which I didn't understand. Maybe its because I got used to this method of typing Arabic using English characters so I can catch what someone is trying to say. I haven't done much of Arabic reading since leaving Jordan years ago, except reading shop and road signs in Bahrain and UAE plus food packets in Malaysia.

To tell you the truth, I told Jia... I have't got a clue.

I translated it into traditional arabic text so I can see what it reads like that... Would have been much easier... But it wasn't lol I find it really frustrating trying to read arabic words when they're typed out in english how we think we would say them... It's 2 different languages with a whole different contrast in how we pronounce each letter... Gets too confusing and frustrates me so I prefer to read it in arabic.

It doesn't make sense. So she settled for this...
"Ikhlassy akhrasi ya sharmoot wa iftahy khashmik"

Now I know what that means

Okay, I'm not that good at Arabic slang, been quite sometime for that. So it should roughly mean in English, "Do not blame the comfortable"?

@ Jia - I think it should be "laa ithum" which means "Do not blame/accuse". I don't think ragado is a word because there is no sound in Arabic that sounds like 'ga'. 'Ga' is a word in Persian scripts.
