Hey sorry again for not being on in a long time. My parents say I shouldn't be spending much time on here, and the amount of schoolwork seems to suggest the same... I also have been busy with seeing family, celebrating the holidays, seeing friends, writing music... all that stuff. So I might not be able to go on as much as I used to. I will try to keep up at least some, though. Speaking of holidays, how was your Christmas and how's your family?

OMG that's amazing you got such good scores!!! I'm jealous... I'm definitely not going to score like that, at least not on certain finals.

Yeah, a friend from school just got over a really mean cold too. Ahh, winter season.

Which means winter break! And, as I said before, I will see my family and my friends for break. I also anticipate getting contacts, earrings, and hopefully my braces off!

sorry I've not replied in so long......... It's the end of the first semester of junior year, so as you can imagine, I'm so busy I might as well be doing Christmas shopping for my entire extended family.

It's going well otherwise. Looking forward to seeing my family and having my winter reunion with my summer school friends. And tinkering with Logic when finals are over and I have free time to do stuff!! We finally got Logic Pro.

How are you? How did you do on your finals? Do you have winter plans?

Trimesters. So different from my school... hard to imagine. We have semesters. Actually my friend is on the quarter system, so he already had his first set of finals. Crazy, huh?

I'll look forward to when I can hear your stuff! It's not common to find other young musicians who really know how to write good, smart music.

The musical is going to be about a girl who's a really smart, unusual composer who wants to connect with other people but is so devoted to her music and came out of such a different mold from her peers that she is somewhat torn between the world of music and the world of friends. She is trying to figure out where she belongs... So we don't really have a plot outline yet. Working on it. We have some music though. It was interesting to hear my friend describing his idea for the protagonist because even though I knew he was basing her personality and experience on his own it was almost like he was describing me!

That's cool about your duet. You should post it somewhere I can hear it. Why on earth do you have finals so early??? That stinks. Anyway, good luck on finishing your project.

Yeah, you might want to get a music myspace for your own music. I'd love to hear it!

You've never gotten a C- on a test before?? I'm jealous... I've gotten D's!!!! Actually we just got our quarter grades and mine were better than I thought, but I got a dislikable B- in history. It's good you know they're still good grades! People at my school complain if they get B's! Sometimes I wonder if my classmates will die of not getting into Harvard.

My music isn't going at all at the moment because I am swamped with schoolwork. Although my friend from San Diego is trying to write a musical and so we're sort of collaborating on that. How's yours?

Well, congratulations on your tests! It sure feels good to do well.

Yeah, a music myspace is pretty much just that. And the difference is, the playlist you create doesn't have to be other people's music--it can be your own!

A Music Myspace is a myspace page, only with an artist biography and profile and a playlist of one's own songs. Mine isn't all professional. It just has six (the maximum) of my tracks and a couple words about me. Like my regular myspace page.
