Acid Bath is my favorite band. They have too many great songs so I will post their most popular:
Paradise Lost is a gothic metal band, here is a song by them:

And then install the scobbler and crap, then listen to music as you normally would and it'll suggest new bands of similar style, you can also search for stuff as well. Its a REALLY good site to finding new music, the majority of my music list come from Last.Fm.
