Should I ask her if she likes me?

I have had this friend for over 2 years and for the past few months we have been hanging out a lot more lately. She always laughs at my jokes, we have a good time together and she is always "joking" about how we are gonna end up hooking up one day. My parents say that i'm blind and that she obviously likes me and i'm starting to believe them. Thing is, is that she just broke up with her boyfriend 10 days ago. Should I just ask her straight up if she likes me? Or is it too soon to ask this? I feel like I gotta take a chance, no beating around the bush. Advice?

Maybe you should wait another week or so. There is always a possibility that she relies on you as a friend and isn't ready for an actual relationship yet. So you may want to do a few subtle things to check.

There is a great chance that she likes you, but I think its not yet the time to ask her about that. As you said she had just broke up with her boyfriend. Try to observe first, otherwise your friendship may be ruined.

Though it's hard to tell not knowing more about your relationship with this girl, I'd say that she probably likes you and you're in with a shot. She may even have broken up with her boyfriend because she realised she likes you! My advice is to go for it, assess the situation first to check she is over the break up and make sure you come don't come across as insensitive by asking her out without regard for her having only just got out of a relationship. Just be there for her, ask her how she feels about relationships now or whatever, test the water by making some hints and if it all goes well then just ask her out. Good luck

I think you should tell her how you feel and go for it ..
Because then once you've got her, you can take it nice and slow, but if you don't make your move soon someone else might!
