Liking Your Friends Boyfriends/Girlfriends

What are your opinions on liking your friends boyfriends/girlfriends? Is it off limits? What about exboyfriends/girlfriends?

Well, to me...I'd feel like a crappy friend if I tried to go behind my friend's back and try to get their guy.

However, with ex's, I think if I had only been with a guy for a short while and then we broke up mutually, and my friend confessed that she'd liked him for a while and he's taken an interest in her, I'd probably be okay with it. If we had a lot of history, and the break-up was bad however, I don't think I'd be cool with it. Seeing my friend with him all the time is just a constant reminder of how bad things were between us in the past. It'd just be plain awkward!

I think liking your friend's girlfriend is off limits. Try being put in their shoes. You wouldn't like it if your friend did that to you.
With ex's however, I think thats okay. They broke so they cant be mad at you for liing the person. They should understand that they last their chance and it's your turn now.
P.S I would frist tell my friend about it before going ahead

I don't think that we are able to control are feeling for someone ..But If we do have feelings for friend's boyfriend/girlfriend , I find it ok as long as we don't try to have something with friend's boyfriend/girlfriend ..

I think it's okay as long as we don't rub it and mention it a lot to our friend..
She/He had her/his chance ..It didn't work out ..So it's his/her time to step away ...

It's never a good idea. Maybe it's okay to make a move if they break up and your friend is COMPLETELY over that person.

If you are close friends with this person, then they're totally off limits. If y'all are friends, but don't hang out that much, then I can see maybe going out with their ex boyfriend. But for me personally, it depends on which ex boyfriend. Liking their current boyfriend is a never.

It can happen to anyone its just how you act on the feelings if you try & take their bf or gf away that's not ok. If you keep it to yourself its okay.
& dating a friends x make sure its ok with the friend

Liking them doesn't matter, acting on it is what matters; imagine how they'd feel if you did act on it, and if you DON'T care, are they really even your friend?
