Re: Lortab
PostQuote from Malevolent: “I did, and the drowsiness was mentioned quite a few times. I was just addressing that, stating that it's the hydrocodone that causes it. Hydrocodone is fairly strong, and as somebody without any tolerance you're bound to get the opiate high, so I doubt the dosage is too much for you; it's just a strong and effective drug mixed with acetaminophen... which is a fun combination. I thought that was implied, but I admit, I shouldn't have been so ambiguous.” I questioned if you…

PostQuote from Malevolent: “Congratulations, you got high. What you're feeling is the hydrocodone.” Um, obviously. Did you read any of the rest of the thread, or was it just that one sentence?

Lortab
PostAlright so last night I went to the hospital because I'm crazy sick. I have some sort of throat infection and an ear infection. The throat infection has cause to me have such a severe sore throat that I can barely swallow anything from the pain. I was prescribed antibiotics as well as lortab. Has anyone ever taken it before? I'm pretty sure the dosage I was given was too strong. It takes away my pain, which is awesome. It also gives me a crazy body buzz, which makes me feel like I'm floating and…

Quote from rmg126: “ Don't hate. I'll say it again, everyone makes mistakes. Haven't you ever done anything stupid in your life? I think we all have at least once.” I agree fully with that. I feel so out of place. I'm the only one who voted no, but I don't think I'm shallow for doing so.

No, I wouldn't. Why? I live on my own and my own car, which I pay for. I expect the men who I date to be in the same type of situation as me, especially considering that I only date guys 22+ Someone in the age range should have a car. If I was still in high school however, I wouldn't care at all if a guy had a car or not.

Getting healthy
PostI'm far from being overweight(I weigh 108lbs), but I've decided to start trying to be overall more healthy in my habits. Anyone else in the same boat? So far I've stopped drinking soft drinks, I haven't had any in over 3 weeks now. The last two weeks I've started improving my eating habits as well (IE not eating so late, eating more nutritious foods.) The next two things on my list: -Get a gym membership -Decrease my alcohol intake

I rarely find people my age attractive.

By "and that I may ask him out", what do you mean? Do you mean on a date or the typical high school ask someone out and they are now your boyfriend/girlfriend way? I'd say if you're not entirely sure on what you should do, don't try and jump into a relationship straight away. Take your time with him and go on a few dates first, that will help you determine if you're ready for this or not.
