Well, I talked to this girl I really really like last thursday, and she told me she broke up with her longtime bf. So after much consideration, I asked her out yesterday. She told me that her and her ex-bf still had some issues to take care of and that it was "really complicated". Not exactly the answer I expected to get. So I'm not really sure what to make of that. Was she just trying to say no nicely or was she being honest??...

Well well well....it's September and back to all the crushing and whatnot. Last school year, I made a bunch of posts about how I like this girl and how we were in study hall together and sat together...and how much it sucked that she had a boyfriend. Since locker pickout day in the middle of August, I had gotten the feeling that her and her bf had broke up. They were never around eachother anymore, she wasn't wearing the necklace he gave her anymore, and her bf seemed depressed. I really wanted …

Re: Hair Colors
PostMy hair can't make up it's mind. Sometimes its black, sometimes times it's dark brown, other times it's light brown!!! Usually it's black though. My mom's hair naturally changes colors all the time too, so that's probably where it came from.

Re: Tanning
PostWhat is with this country's obsession with tan skin? I find pale-skinned girls very attractive, personally.

You lack confidence and come across as desperate. That's why you don't have one. Girls are REALLY turned off by the whole "I NEED A GIRLFRIEND!!!!" Thing. I know from experience...I was like that during my early teen years when I wasn't all that experienced with being attracted to girls yet. They view it as creepy. They like a guy who more of a "whatever happens, happens...gf? cool. No gf? so what?" attitude. It's called confidence. And don't worry about what you look like. I was ugly as hell wh…

Quote from wolfbane75: “Does anyone hav any suggestions of getting to kno her better? We've known each other casually since like 7th grade but when i started liking her i tried to get to kno her better. We are in two completely different social groups. She is one of the "popular" girls at my school and im more of an average guy so its hard trying to get to kno her better. we really only talk on like aim and facebook and occasionally before homeroom. so we arnt really at the point of disclosing i…

Quote from Bigsteve: “Or maybe you should blame your own anorexic ass.” I'm sorry....I did come across as a bit cocky in my orginal post. I used to be overweight, if that makes you feel any better.

I'm in the same situation, so I think I can help. Well, all you can really do is just go along with it until they possibly break up. Be cool about her relationship....never let your jealousy get in the way. And...whatever you do....don't get your hopes up too much. Don't treat every little thing as a sign shes breaking up with her bf, because you will be very, very dissapointed all the time. Just kind of brush the whole thing aside until it possibly happens. And...uhhh.... what's with this "ever…

I',m a mens size "small". Mens size "small" clothes are very hard to find and it's pissing me off. It seems like the only clothes that come in small are like plain undershirts and stuff. All the cool clothes only come in "Large", "Extra Large", and "Extra-Extra Large".....MAYBE "Medium" at the smallest. AUGHHH!!! Skinny people need clothes too... I blame the obesity epidemic.

Re: SAT or ACT
PostI took the PSAT last October.....did really well on the English part, but absolutely bombed the math part. I'll never forget when I got mine back and it pretty much said "80% of students scored higher than you on the math section".

Math. I've never been good at it, ever since kindergarten (in fact to this day I still have to do basic adding/subtracting with my fingers) but it's become REALLY tough for me in high school. At the begininng of last year, I was in the regular 11th grade math class, but had a 30 average and so I was moved down to freshman math, which was (to me anyway) just as hard. I got 40s and 50s on all of my math tests/quizzes last year and so now I'm currently in summer school. Hopefully I'll pass just so …

Shitty. I haven't gotten good grades since like 6th or 7th grade. I couldn't pass math if a math chip containing every single math equation answer and formula was surgically drilled into my head. I do have a lot of common sense though....you know, stuff you'll actually use in life? So I think it's balanced out. Too bad common sense won't get you into college.
