Quote from Sasha Vassily: “Not really. George Bush is still a President, even if not the best one. He still has defence analysts and others to advice him who would tell him what would happen to US if they go to war against China or Korea. Iraq was a dead Turkey, China is a live beast which can hit back so hard and Americans get a taste of how being an Iraqi felt like. Even if China struck one US city with its nuclear missiles, the US spirit of war will collape on the loss of a million. The gover…

  • Did this help anyone? I thought it would, because so many people want to kill themselves on these forums.

  • Quote: “Umm. Yeah, I'm sure it makes the pain so much less, believing in god. That helps smile.gif She can sit around and wait for god, or she can learn to move on and deal with a death in her family.” Just because you believe in god doesn't mean that you just sit down. If she believes in god, then she can cope better, because she can believe that one day she will be once again with her sister. I know what religion does because I have a friend who lost his mom. He was Christian (I'm agnostic) an…

  • Quote from Hobone: “Sorry about your loss. It may take a while, but you will learn to move on. Idiot.” Why "idiot"? If she believes in god, the pain becomes less. For thousands of years man has believed in god to ease the pain and suffering of the earth.

  • I'm sorry to hear that. Do you believe in God? Is so, then the pain would not be so bad. Did she die suddenly, or was is a sickness or something?

  • I remember, a few months ago, I wanted to kill myself. The reason was a bad one— bad grade, no friends, problems with family and school, loneliness. I know it’s not a reason to kill yourself, but at that time it seemed like a great reason. That’s what happens when you want to kill yourself—you don’t think rationally. Your emotions overtake you. I took the knife dozens of times, but could never make myself do it. Why? Because I would always say to myself: “Fine, I’ll kill myself. But not now. I’l…

The USA fucked up Iraq totally. First, they put in a dictator--Saddam Hussein--and then support him in his most brutal years. And then, the USA implements economic sanctions that kill AT LEAST 1 MILLION Iraqi civilians. And then, the USA invades, and kills at least a million more.

  • then how could millions of people all over the world see the same thing

Quote: “Americans are stupidest among all G8 and advanced industrialised nations, as proved by national IQ, awareness and student assessment tests. ” Americans don't care about stupid tests. They care about practical stuff--like sending people to the moon, scientific research, economic benefit, world-class educational institutions, and such.

  • In the USA, we have freedom to but not freedom from. We can say what we want, and have hundreds of different choices and such--this is freedom to. BUT, we cannot live free from the influence of capitalism--that is freedom from. This is probably true in most countries.

In 21 September 1995 and 21 August 2006, Hindu statues all over the drank milk that was offered to them. I saw some videos of it, and read about it. I am not Hindu--but I am (Asian) Indian. After seeing this, I am kind of thinking of converting. Their are some explanations (see the articles I provided). But it happened all over the world, and millions saw it. Also, it lasted for only one day--if their was a scientific reason, wouldn't it happen all the time? What do you guys think? Hindu milk mi…

I took 9 AP tests and got all 4 and 5's. Not taking any this year--12th grade. The best way to study is go to collegebord.com and get the practice questions. Also, buy AP books and take every single test. Most of the questions on the actual test will be almost the same as the practice questions. Good luck!
