  • Keep thinking that way and you will have it. Its all in your mind. If you keep thinking about it consciously, your subconscious mind will be thinking about it a ton. Your mind will be subconsciously trying to make it a reality. Don't think about it. Realize and think you are too powerful and great to be bi-polar. Just think and fully believe this. "**** you life, I'm too great for bipolar disorder." For a while I started to show signs and thought I would develop it. Then I just thought "Wait a m…

  • Cybersex, I just don't get it. I thought it was for losers. Then I tried it. Midway through I quit. It was just stupid, it didn't really work for me. I have better things to do in my life then waste it on that. I don't see how people get enjoyment out of it. Porn, I don't like it. The few times I look it up its usually boring. Unless its some sort of extreme BDSM thing. I always feel like a freak for loving it, but oh well.

So, any update? I'm doubtful of it all and would not go myself. Then again, I would not have gotten myself in this situation.

  • Its a fact of life. Some don't like it, yet you can make it work in your favor. By proving that label wrong you can often impress those that wrongly labeled you.

Age: 16 Mental Age: 46 Though it is stupid at times. There are alternative reasons for choosing everything. Such as saying you listen to "rock music." As if your mental age is listening to that? A lot of metal, which is often referred to as rock music, is Romantic music like Wagner and Tchaikovsky.

  • Quote from Neal: “This is what I mean when I say the world is not evil because of those who do it, but because of those that do nothing about it. You have a bus full of people and they let 1 person murder someone like that. All the stronger men on the bus should have something to be guilty about, imo. This is why I carry a cell phone wherever I go when I walk down the streets and alleys at day and night. You never know when you have to make a 911 call. And also a camera - in case I see anything …

  • Quote from Assaultrifle: “Not necessarily. Most people who post here will think about it because they want to. They have a choice, but they chose to click on this topic and chose to read your ideas. Furthermore they choose whether the topic is interesting to them or not, and if it's not, then they will leave the topic without caring or thinking about it. I think that external stimuli obviously affect the decisions people make, but in the end people are the ones who "take in" all the different fa…

  • I also have never heard of a South African stereotype. Then again, I've never talked or even heard someone talk about the country IRL.

  • I've though a similar thing. You hear about the cause and effect. Yet is everything not an effect? Am I choosing these words, or was it destined to happen due to all the knowledge and unconscious calculations going on in my head. I think we really don't have total free thought. Yet what effects it is so great, we will never be able to completely figure it out. To much of it is unconscious. Though, on a conscious hand, we still don't have much free thought. Because most thoughts that oppose the p…

  • Well, if your really going to kill yourself. Do something first. Do something that you can be remembered about. Do something very memorable. Then when you abruptly kill yourself (make sure you hide the fact that you will.), people will remember and speculate why. Honestly, I agree that if you do want to die. Join the army and beg to be sent into Iraq so you can die a hero. Or better yet. Don't do it. Thats probably throwing out over 50 years to live. Don't you want to see what happens in the 21s…

I agree. It makes perfect sense. I thought it was common sense. Only you sometimes lose that common sense due to strong emotions.

I want to recap our little argument without editing my post. I said I didn't like debating this issue, then rambled out my reasons why. This did act as a finish point for my stance on religion. Only it is not the argument itself. Because I try to avoid this arguements (As I've failed too here.), I gave an alternative way to find an argument. Then a Fallacy was used aganist me. (Not specifically me, but it applied to me.) An Ad Hominem I think. Then once I explained that up. Another fallacy, a st…

Quote from LuklaAdvocate: “Homosexuality isn't wrong in the Old Testament. Only homosexual sex. I'm not referring to murder. I'm referring to premarital sex, homosexual sex, abortion, Christians only marrying Christians, etc. And no, most people, religious or not, accept that murder is wrong.” I agree. In those situation people are using Atheism as a self confidence boost (a crutch.) into thinking what they are doing is fine. Then again, I think your options are limited too when it comes to choo…

I started my original post off saying I don't like debating this issue. I then talked about my person experiences with Christians and a common use I see with Christianity today. That use being a crutch for egos. Do you see the connection between me not liking to debate this issue, and my sudden explanation about egos and Christians? There is a connection there. Your right that it doesn't touch the overall topic. If you look in the context, I started rambling that out as a bit of an explanation o…
