  • Quote from Xonpher: “EXPRESS: ARGYLE V-NECK SWEATER Specifically talking about the one colored "Pitch Black". I'd wear it exactly as the model is wearing it. White shirt underneath and slacks. Im 16 BTW. Im wearing it to a formal event.” No. Don't go out wearing that. Besides, this is more of a casual sweater...v-neck's look pretty sick, BUT ONLY IN SOLID COLORS. Never. Ever. Wear a striped sweater.

  • The New Jersey Italian accent is probably the least attractive one on the planet...and I have it. Shit, the girls who do like it are guidettes...

Pink, IMO, is only okay for us guys when we're wearing a polo (Lacoste or Polo, preferably) or a button-down. If worn as part of a classic, conservative look then it doesn't look weird or out of place at all. Try to wear a duller pink as well - just stay away completely from hot pink. I would never wear a pink T-shirt, hoodie, etc. That actually does look pretty...fruity, IMO.

  • Lacoste is fine, but it gives an air of trying too hard. RL has got more of an airy, "I-don't-care-what-the-fuck-you-think-about-my-clothes" feel, while at the same time always looking cool. Meh, I have plenty of both, I just prefer RL. They fit me much better, and I like the mesh material more.

  • Bro, just look clean cut all the time. Stay in shape, shave, brush your teeth, and shampoo your hair. Anything will look good on you then. If you had to choose, though, just go classic prep, with polos, slacks, etc.

Quote from Dr.Carter: “Probably preppy. My wardrobe generally consists of long sleeve shirts, polos, and khaki. But definitely not "new" preppy. Don't "pop" my collar, don't wear pink shirts, don't like Abercrombie, and so on. I usually wear Ralph Lauren, Lacoste (duh), etc. But sometimes if I'm tired/sick/whatever it's sporty. If I don't feel like getting dressed up, I'll just throw on some warm up jersey and sweatpants. I'm not one of those people that has Armani pajamas and what not.” This...…

  • Go preppy, but not that gay Abercrombie shit. Preppy = clean, crisp polos, oxfords, sweaters, etc. Think Polo, J. Crew, Lacoste, etc. Hit up the Salvation Army for some sick deals.

  • I'm finishing up my freshman year in high school this June, and am spending the summer at the Jersey Shore (Belmar) as I usually do. This summer, I'm planning on getting a summer job for the first time. I can provide my own transportation throughout the town or one of the two adjoining ones. What would be the best summer job for me to try and get? I'm a guy, if it matters, and I'm in very good shape and can handle more physical work if necessary. As it's a big beach town, there are many seasonal…

  • Quote from nobody.: “salvation army ftw” Same. I go to Macy's, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Lord + Taylor...anything to find Ralph Lauren and Lacoste polos. God, I love those things.

  • A good way is to start dressing preppy and conservatively, to get a nice, clean, sharp look. The only problem is that most of those brands are mad expensive. BTW, I do NOT mean Abercrombie or American Eagle. I'm talking about Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, etc. And you won't look like a "poser." And I can say that some of the nicest people I've ever met have been preps, unlike the Hollister addicts and skaters, who basically get mad at you if you don't dress like them or if you do dress like them. Besid…

  • Thank God this isn't another one of those "I had sex with my cousin" threads.

  • Guys, BTW thanks for not just going "U PERVV" But it's not like we're driving ten miles cause "OMG WE MIGHT MEET GIRLZ." There's a huge AMC theater withing walking distance, where a ton of kids hang out on weekends and then go to Applebees or Chevy's afterwards, especially us. BTW, thanks for telling us not to go see Bond, it looks pretty dumb. And I hate to be like "im all grown up even tho im 15" but truthfully I'm six foot tall and in very good shape...it's not like I'm going with my gaming b…

  • Well, at least I think he does so far. On Saturday night (our school dance is on Friday), would it be smart for me and a few guys to hit up the Twilight movie? He heard that there's going to be like 20 girls for every guy there. I know we're sounding pervish, but we were going to go see Bond anyways. To put it bluntly, do you think it's a good idea...with girls in mind, of course. BTW, I'm a Potter fan, so while I, along with most other guys, would never read and have never read the books, I can…

  • Quote from TheCosmicFrog: “Bah, never liked Abercrombie and I think AE is old fashioned... I live in Galway, north of Ennis. About an 1.5 hour drive. You like Ireland? :)” Yeah, I love it there...and I've been to Galway. It was really cool there...though it really wasn't that different from the States. Gotta say though, my (Italian-American) father and brother hated it...said it was too rainy and all but me and my mom liked it loads. I've been there twice, once by myself to visit my aunt and ano…

  • Where I live we're very religious (Catholic) but also very liberal lol...it's probably cause even though a lot of us are opposed to abortion, the Republican administrations try to place the burden on helping the poor on charities (more or less Catholic dioceses). Not to mention that they're anti-immigration. But whatever, lol you're prolly from somewhere other than the Northeast.

  • Quote from TheCosmicFrog: “NOT MY BEADS?! Ah come on, they're Aéropostale :D” So across the bond those Adidas jackets are like slummish but Aero is cool? lol, over here Aero is kind of made fun of as the cheaper alternative to Abercrombie, AE, etc...tho I have no problem with the clothes. I shop at thrift stores mostly anyway. BTW, where in Ireland are you? My aunt lives in Ennis and I've got some friends there.

  • What year are you in HS? And do you go to like a Catholic school? IDK, but if you know her name I'd add her on Facebook or something and just chat with her, tell her about the dance, but you don't have to ask her out or be like "I don't have a date." If she's interested she'll ask if you have a date and then afterwards keep asking you questions about the dance...if she's not she'll try to get off chat or just change the subject.

  • Why 30+, I think you need 31-35, 36-42, and then 43+, lol.
