  • I feel sad that it's come to the point where I'm asking for advice on the internet, but it's all that I can really do right now... I'll explain: I'm 'friends' with this really arrogant, up-himself, irritating, whiny twunt who I really can't get away from. I've been speaking to him since I was about 11, but we're both 17 now, and we're in our last year of school. He lives quite near me and there isn't a large number of other people from my year at school who live in the same area as me, so the fe…

  • Mm, yeah, I suppose... I feel like a bit of an idiot now. I guess I can come back to this thread with updates... And I would never do anything like try and split them up! But it's fair enough that you mentioned that anyway; I know a lot of people who'd be willing to split up a girl and her boyfriend in order to go out with her...

  • Mm well I feel kind of embarassed about posting these things on the internet but there is honestly no-one I know who knows ANYTHING about relationships so I thought I'd ask you guys... I'm at sixth form, in year 13 (final year of school before uni). Obviously when a new year starts sixth form, some students from outside our school come here to study. So the new year 12 group is made up of students who were at our school originally and some who weren't, obviously. Anyway one of these new students…

  • Mm I guess so... Anyway I think the bigger worry right now is telling my parents. It's going to be so shitty.

  • Well I meant by 'another course' like, something to do instead of medicine... And that's the thing, I did like the idea of doing medicine at uni, but now I'm going off it, and it's making me worried and a bit stressed out.

  • I spose, but I do really want to try and send in an application this year rather than next year, if possible. I just don't think I'd be able to decide on another course to do...

  • Not sure if this should go in this section or the Education, Career and Jobs section. I wasn't sure if that was for support or just for general discussion. Anyway, in September last year I started Sixth form (year 12) and I've been wanting to do medicine at university for a while now. I'm doing the IB so it's pretty stressful, quite a bit of work to do (six subjects in case some of you don't know) but I have good enough predicted grades to make a decent medicine application at some universities.…

  • Got 1 A*, 5 As and 5 Bs at GCSE, predicted about 39 points on the IB. It's bloody tough though.

Quote from Esmo: “Will they?! Where've you heard this?” Hehe, note that I said hopefully :p But yeah apparently the 'head have started writing (or it might have been recording, can't remember) LP8, so they'll be done eventually... a tour will follow, I presume. And my friend managed to get tickets on general sale! Don't know how the hell he managed it, but he got them. Four years in a row!

I've seen them thrice, hoping to see them for a fourth time in November but Seetickets are fucking stupid... on the pre-sale, we could only actually get through as the last standing tickets were going. So we're going to have to try getting tickets on general sale, it's going to be tough though. Ah well, Radiohead will tour soon anyway, hopefully

I saw the opening scene with the remix of that Hikaru Utada song on it (a friend sent it to me after he found out I was a FF fan) and I thought it looked really crap. He lent me the game and told me to give it a go, and it just sat in my room for a few weeks collecting dust, because I couldn't be arsed to play it. Eventually, after a few days of complete boredom, I put it into my PS2 because I thought I might as well give it a go. On the first level I was bored shitless but he told me to carry o…

I like graffiti. Real graffiti though. Not tags. When I went to Berlin, every time I got on the S-bahn you could see it all over the walls of the buildings you passed. It was brilliant. Unfortunately I don't think I'd ever have the balls or the skills to actually do it.

Actually yeah, I thought 300 was shocking. Good fight scenes, just nothing else.

Ah, I loved that film. It's probably the best film I've been to see at a cinema. The Dark Knight is the only one which could come CLOSE for me.

  • I liked it as an instrumental too, but I think the vocals are still pretty cool. For some reason, I love the 'ohhh love' bit just as it goes into the chorus. It sounds awesome.

  • Okay. Weird, weird situation at the moment. I keep messing myself around because I keep picking up on really small things she does now. When I read other threads on here I feel like a fool. People ask the question 'does she like me?' after saying they've hugged and kissed and whatevered with them, and when I ask the question it's based around small things like smiles and compliments, etc. I mean, for instance, I noticed I'm pretty much the only guy in the group that she says 'well done' to after…
