  • Quote from Dazza©: “Would you like me to edit my post ? How was i "mocking" them?” well it sounded as if you were mocking them by saying "I'm going to start praying to Shrek i think, do you think he can help?"

  • Quote from Dazza©: “Right you are trying to help homosexual people? By wasting their time praying to a fictional character in a book? I'm going to start praying to Shrek i think, do you think he can help? And to CHris : Leviticus 20:13 clearly states "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” Excuse me, but could you at least respect other people's opinions and beliefs.…

  • Quote from Dazza©: “I don't care. This is a debate, If you can't face other opinions, i suggest you don't come in. Catholics take the sins / rules seriously.. but not the principles of Christianity. For example, homosexuality. Catholics believe that homosexuality is a "sin" and it is wrong, and shouldn't be allowed, But Christianity is supposed to be about love =/ Doesn't make sense, Does this mean That God is denying love to people? Because i'm pretty sure he said he doesn't do that. This is ju…

  • Quote from Ammon: “I guess they are if you look at it the right way. However, they follow Jesus' teachings as the basis for their beliefs, which does make them no less Christian than a Catholic.” okay, they might follow teachings of Jesus as a basis of their beliefs, but they also follow their own, the book of mormon. and some of their beliefs are not in line with the bible. one example is that they believe that before we were born into this earth, we pre-existed as spirit children. they also be…

Quote from punk13: “weed is safer the a lot of otc drugs in use today how would it increase diseases asprin is more likley to put u in the hospital the weed is” that's if you dont use aspirin properly (eg. you OD, taking wrong dose, keep taking it even if you have a peptic ulcer). That also goes with a lot of OTC and prescription drugs. If you dont take it properly, of course you might end up in hospital. Then again, there are a few cases where people do take them properly, but then they get sid…

  • just a point for now, mormons aren't christian. Mormonism is a christian cult. Their beliefs are totally different from the general Christian belief.

I'm a christian and I believe that God is real. The proof that i have that God is real, might be different to the proof that someone else has that leds them to believe that God is real. Personally, i think that there are certain aspects of science that help prove or show that God is real. I mean, as a health science student, i find it amazing how everything in our body is just so precise and perfect and it all interacts in the right way to make us live. I mean, i dont think coincidence caused it…

Quote from Frosty: “Paying less tax, having a reduced chance of being targeted by muggers, a reduced chance of being caught in the middle of gang violence wouldn't benefit you?” that and if it was legalised, there would be an increase burden on health care systems where there may be an increase in the incidence of people having certain diseases (mental, cardiac etc) due to the acute or chronic use of weed and thus, costing taxpayers a lot more money especially when people are hospitalised for it…

  • hmm...yeah, the collage thing is pretty cool actually. maybe print off some photos and stick them on the canvas? i remember my friend made her boyfriend an origami heart with a flower on the back (dont ask me how she did it, but it was really cool). if you can make a heart out of paper, you could stick a few onto it? but i'm sure he'll appreciate anything that you make for him. =)

  • Wow, firstly, congrats on finishing school and it's great that you feels that you did a good job! I know a lot of people who feel lost after finishing their schooling. I mean, you've spent a lot of your life with those same people, seeing them everyday, being in the general routine of school and school life, and now it's time to face uni where everything isn't as nicely structured and your friends aren't going to always be there everyday. It can be a really scary thing. But when you get to uni, …

  • it's possible. dont know how common it would be though. i would assume that it happens more in a co-ed school, and since i didn't go to one, i wouldn't really know. to be honest, i dont think those friends are very good friends if they ditch the guy/girl who is going out with someone that they dont like. I mean, there are people everywhere who dont agree with their friend's choice of gf/bf, but a lot of them still stick by their friend. as for the girl/guy who is afraid to go out with someone be…

i wonder if there are such things as prescription goggles. lol. anyway, yeah, goggles dont always keep the water out, but i doubt a lot of water will get into your eyes because the natural reaction is to close your eyes when water is near them. if you have to do any diving or anything into the pool, just make sure your goggles are really tight so they dont slip off when you start to swim. also, the goggles should be big enough anyway so when you see them start to fill up with water, you can empt…

I am doing pharmacy in a pharmacy college in australia. I chose it because: a) it's the only place to do pharmacy in the metropolitan area (there's another one in the country, but i dont want to go there) b) i couldn't be bothered going to another state to do pharmacy c) it's one of the best ones around (according to my lecturer, it's in the top 50 schools of pharmacy or something).

Hey, Thanks for that everyone. It's really helped me a lot. I guess i can really only live each day as it comes. However, i wish i could re-do exams, but they took that out starting this year. No supplementary exams if you fail. You just have to repeat. =( Guess i have to do the best that i can then. Thanks again for taking time out to reply to my post. It means a lot to me. =)

I'm stressed. I sorta need to get things off my chest. It's been a bit of a crazy time for me at the moment. I've got exams in a week and a half, my work is short staffed so i ended up working three days in a row which drained me quite a bit. I also help out in my church and i'm also treasurer in a club at uni. On top of that, my grandmother is in hospital again after falling down and i haven't visited her yet. This happened on thursday i think, which is was the first day of my "3 day working" s…

It's 18 where i am, then again, it's compulsary to vote (in australia). I guess at the age of 18, you have to deal with stuff like uni fees and uni education and other things, whereas, when you're 16, you dont have to think much about it because your parents generally pay for everything and you dont have to worry about having debts from your uni course that you have to pay later etc. Though i have to say, there are probably a lot of people out there who dont follow politics and stuff, but they g…

  • I agree with Nihoru. You can change your life and turn it around. In regards to people taking advantage of your niceness, i think you need to learn how to be assertive. Since i dont know what your work place is like or how people are taking advantage of you, the only suggestion i have is to stand up for yourself when you need to. For example, if a customer wants you to do something that's against store policy, tell them that you can't and that it's against store policy. As for confidence and bei…
