Re: Lifting question
PostIt sounds like you are not focusing mentally. First off, if you have free weights, use one weight per arm and ONLY focus on that one arm. If you are curling with two arms, there is more of a chance you won't pay attention and cheat by using other major muscles to help with the lifting. Next, you need to image the motion your arm moves in. Image the bicep brachii contracting and expanding. Try to imagine the muscle tearing from the sheer force and stress you are putting on that one specific muscl…

This is a faster way to increase the size of your small supporting muscle groups such as the hip flexors, but will not build muscle overall as fast. Traditional weight training is the fastest way to gain mass.” Your statement makes sense. Do you have any more literature on this? I'd like to read up on it.

Quote from S1919: “No it's not as simple as *just*, high intensity sports and activities will do it too. Lifting is however, the quickest way to muscle mass. And eating alone won't build muscle.” I wouldn't go to make such a broad statement as saying lifting is the quickest way to gain muscle mass, have you tried resistance bands? They actually even out undeveloped muscles in the body as they distribute resistance accordingly. In fact, studies have shown that resistance bands put more constant p…
