  • Ugh, if you really and I mean REALLY want a proper nutritional plan and fitness routine then PM me and I will make you one. But I need to know you are serious about it. I'm not about to put in a crap load of work into it, only to find out you skimmed over it once and did nothing. Cool?

Oh my god guys I am 5'8 185 lbs @ 9% body fat I am so tiny too! No matter what I eat I can't get bigger!!! All joking aside. For the OP, try eating carb heavy foods: breads, rices, pasta, beans. Eat them in large quantities. And if you do lift weights, you will put on muscle mass, period.

  • Depends if I'm cutting or bulking.

It sounds like you are not focusing mentally. First off, if you have free weights, use one weight per arm and ONLY focus on that one arm. If you are curling with two arms, there is more of a chance you won't pay attention and cheat by using other major muscles to help with the lifting. Next, you need to image the motion your arm moves in. Image the bicep brachii contracting and expanding. Try to imagine the muscle tearing from the sheer force and stress you are putting on that one specific muscl…

So you like the sausage in your mouth eh? I would have to say that is pretty excessive. Try to vary the types of meats you have since each one typically provides some type of variation of nutritional elements that another does not. I believe those types of meats are also filled with nitrates which aren't the best for you because they can cause long term problems to your organs down the road. And if I'm not mistaken they are also high in sodium, which your body should have sodium, but not …

Could you clarify your goal of "wanting to fight?" In what aspect, do you want to learn how to fight or do you want to just fight something to release stress or do you just want to fight in a cage?

  • Quote from S1919: “Isometric resistance, using bands or weights develops speed rather than strength. It increases the size of more of the small muscle groups rather than the larger ones. This is a faster way to increase the size of your small supporting muscle groups such as the hip flexors, but will not build muscle overall as fast. Traditional weight training is the fastest way to gain mass.” Your statement makes sense. Do you have any more literature on this? I'd like to read up on it.

Quote from S1919: “No it's not as simple as *just*, high intensity sports and activities will do it too. Lifting is however, the quickest way to muscle mass. And eating alone won't build muscle.” I wouldn't go to make such a broad statement as saying lifting is the quickest way to gain muscle mass, have you tried resistance bands? They actually even out undeveloped muscles in the body as they distribute resistance accordingly. In fact, studies have shown that resistance bands put more constant p…
