Quote from LOLFag: “Are you feminist, by any chance?” Uh, well, let me see. Do you think, maybe? I'd kind of rather think of my self as a realist.

  • A wise person once said, "We have two eyes, two ears and one mouth. This means we are meant to see more, hear more and talk less." This suggests (and many psychologist agree) that listening is a far more important skill to master than talking when attempting to communicate effectively. Learn to listen!

  • It's really hard to say exactly what manufacturer makes the best part or component in each category. But if you're looking for the best prices on the Web for computer stuff, my choice would be Tiger Direct: TD_HDTVs_728x90.gifshow">show

  • Quote from Skelator: “in my life a real friend brings beer, vodka, cider and a range more alcoholic drinks!! :p” Yes, but I'm sure you get the symbolism. It wouldn't have been very poetic to include a laundry list of alcoholic beverages.

Quote from LOLFag: “God created Man in his own image. This itself gives 2 points to the male side. Besides, the Bible repeatedly refers to God as Father, Him, etc. I don't refer to religion in debates, but since this is inside the religious circle, by using the best source we have, the Bible, God is male.” Of course the Bible says God is male, because it was written by males in a quest to establish and maintain a patriarchal society. Being essentially a political document, whose content was deba…

  • Quote from LOLFag: “Humans can feel the vibrations of ultra sound, and also the heat of infrared. The cat is just a photo I like, and was more or less meant to add a smile to my comments to show this is just a fun debate and nothing serious.” But assuming that you can't in any way know that a tree fell in the forest, which is the scenario we have here, we wouldn't know that it fell, nor that it made a sound. Therefore, when you ask some random guy down the street if he heard a falling tree 50 mi…

Quote from cheap thrills: “i didn't die in 9/11 to take this shit.” Are you speaking to us from the afterlife? It's comforting to know they have the Internet there.

Quote from cheap thrills: “i like it better when a third person is controlling both of us. but he's not involved, he's just there to control the situation.” Sorry, don't get this one. Explain?

Quote from LOLFag: “Wasn't God male?” Depends on whose ego needs stroking.

  • Nobody really has the time to have a "ton" of "friends." True friendship, like any kind of relationship, takes work, tolerance, sacrifice and a great deal of time to establish and maintain. What you are basically talking about when you say a"ton" are acquaintances, and that's a lot different than having a ton of real friends. If you're having trouble telling the difference, here's something I found a while back that helps explain it (equate "acquaintance" with "simple friend." Anyone can stand b…

Quote from ~+ Bear +~: “I didn't LOL at this, the Subway Bombings, or any other mass act of killing. I must not be normal. :” You sound pretty normal to me. By the way, your response sounded like you were answering me, as if I'd asked the question of you, but I was asking the question of the original poster of the thread.

Quote from xxjulyxx: “by "atheists know" i'm referring to the fact that theyre often cocky about their beliefs and dismiss anything else. obviously no one can really claim to know anything about the afterlife if there even is one. as for heaven, ive been a catholic most my life and i am/was under the impression that it is "perfection." maybe not physcially lounging on clouds all day but it is "perfection." am i wrong in this?” Frankly, I have never heard a concept of heaven that I don't think wo…

  • Quote from Esmo: “I wouldn't worry. Just because we're on a platform as crude as the Internet doesn't mean people get offended when you disagree with them. Not sensible people like LOLFag at any rate.” Okay. Thanks for the advice.

It's never really much of a "control" thing with us; it's more both of us trying to do what makes it work best for the other one.

There's tons of them in this novel. The main story is about two teenagers trying to end the girl's virginity and failing numerous times because they don't know what they're doing. Some of it is hilarious, some of it is serious. And there's another story with the same guy growing up and being taught stuff about sex by by an older, more exeperienced woman.
