A few of my friends (who are pretty conceited) seem to think that every man who lays eyes on them wants to have sex with them. Which most of the time isn't true. One time I actually overheard this guy telling his friend that he thought my friend was one of the top ten ugliest girls in the school, but yet she was convinced that he was "obsessed" with her. Obviously I never told her. But yeah, I know what you mean OP. Although I'm on the other side of the spectrum.

I almost don't want to tell you my experience, but mine was very similar. Except instead of me sending the guy a message, my friend did (telling him about me) through an anonymous account. Hey guys. You can pretty much tell what my dilemma is from the title, but I'll give some more details. When I was younger, I had really low self-esteem (and I don't blame myself, because when I look back at pictures of me, I was definitely hideously awkward), but now I would say that I'm average. Lately I've been getting lots of compliments from people, telling me that I'm pretty (which never used to happen, if anything, I got called ugly a lot) and I've even been getting hit on by creeps.
